Get the chance to learn how to fly, surrounded by the lush beauty of the Hawaiian Islands during this 60-minute flight lesson leaving from Maui. It’s the perfect chanced to learn the basic skills of aviation, set among the jaw-dropping landscape of this tropical paradise.
Start your trip at Kahului Airport in Maui, making arrangements for your lesson any time during the airport’s operating hours. You’ll meet your professionally-trained instructor at the airport, reviewing a briefing on flight controls and safety before heading to your plane for takeoff. Before you know it you’ll be airborne, controlling the Cirrus SR22 on your own as you train on the different skills needed for flying, including takeoff, cruising at altitude, descending and landing.
Cruise on over to nearby Molokai, tracing its beautiful northern coast. Then try your hand at landing, accomplished with assistance from your instructor, who will be sitting nearby, guiding you every step of the way. Take a quick break on Molokai, learning a short intro on the history of this one-time leper colony. After your break you can either trade places with another member of your group, or continue flying on the return to Maui. As many as three guests are allowed per booking.
You'll also leave your flying trip with a video recorded during the flight to help remember you amazing aerial day in Hawaii.
