Milan Segway Tour

Excellent tour! Veronika was a great tour leader. She had a great knowledge of the city and was very personable. It was my first time ever on a Segway and she was a great teacher. We were only in Milan for the day but I definitely want to come back and explore more.

It was a really fun tour and the guide was very good. One thing I would change? I think it's an hour too long. My legs were killing me from standing on the Segway for 3 hours. The guide did give us breaks but it still was too much.

Would certainly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to walk around all day.

I would do this tour over and over again. I LOVED Milan and this tour gave you the fun view of the city. Plus the bakery on the corner is AMAZING.

Daniele was a fantastic tour guide. This tour was definitely worth it, cover lots of Milan in the two hour tour at a good pace with the right amount of historic facts and great sights. The Segway was fun!

Danielle was a good and personable guide. The rain or shine policy was a little daunting but he provided ponchos very cheap, plan to bring your own or get wet. You should stress that people should wear suitable shoes as one of our fellow tour members had what seemed to be a bit dangerous. Milan had an absolute deluge of rain on our day but we had a grand time anyway. The tour was a little frustrating at first because he had to bring out each of the 8 segways by himself, one at a time. Not that our time was so very valuable but this is not a cut rate tour so we kind of expected the tour to be ready when we arrived, especially since we were told to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour starting time. The segway training was more than adequate for our needs. We had done a walking tour earlier in our stay of nearly the same central area but we learned lots of new things and saw additional sights. We got a better feel for Milan on this tour than the walking tour, perhaps mostly because of Danielle's insights? He encouraged and answered all questions. It would be nice to have more specific directions to the tour sight from the closest metro stop. Stating that the tour location is easy to find when it actually is an alleyway at an intersection of two streets is a bit of a stretch. Why couldn't you simply post a photo of the tour start location on your site? Seems easy to do. Or, if the tour director were there, ready with the segways at the 15 minutes prior mark, that would work too. The coffee stop midway through the tour was really appreciated on this rainy day. Being the adventurous type I read the tour description to suggest that we might have to use the segway to climb and descend steps. That was not the case. It is just saying that getting on the segway is like stepping up and down steps. Ha! Big difference. I nonetheless enjoyed watching all the youtube videos about how to go up and down steps with a segway in my advance preparations. Not sure if anyone else reads it this way.

LOVED THIS!!!! Our guide was awesome and this was so much fun. I was the only one that had never been on a segway and I loved it!!
