Southern Utah is a popular place to experience canyoneering, and Moab serves as the perfect base with plenty of stunning sites to experience the sport. Canyoneering newcomers are welcome, but expect a full physical and mental workout. Be prepared to make your way through the canyons by hiking, rappelling, scrambling over rock and splashing through water-filled pools.
Your guide shows you how to employ teamwork and technical canyoneering skills when rappelling, doing rope-assisted down climbs, chimneying through slot canyons and negotiating water-filled potholes.
While no experience is needed to join a half-day introduction for adventurous beginners, participants must be physically fit. The full-day tour to Robbers Roost offers active people a more challenging experience that is rated as moderately difficult. See Itinerary below for more details.

Outstanding! Our guide was an expert in canyoneering and knew his stuff which made it fun! We saw fossil dinosaur bones, and took some of the most amazing pictures. We’d highly recommend Navitec and ask for Mike!
One of the most incredible adventures ever. Tory and Brian were exceptional guides. My wife and I enjoyed this more than any tour we have ever booked. Definitely go with this tour company....they are a class operation. Thank you so much for an experience we will never forget!
