  • A 3-hour food tour of Niagara Falls
  • Taste the best of the local Italian-Canadian food culture with dishes like pizza, meatballs and gelato
  • Learn about the local culinary history from your guide
  • Meet local Italian chefs and restaurant owners
  • See one of Canada’s biggest attractions, Niagara Falls, and the surrounding manicured parks
  • Small-group tour limited to 12 people to ensure a quality experience
Meet and greet a knowledgeable local foodie/guide near one of the natural wonders of the world, beautiful and majestic Niagara Falls. Admire the rushing water. OK, it’s time to eat.

What better way to get the food tour started than with a slice of delicious gourmet pizza at one of the area’s popular Italian eateries. Learn about the history of Italian food in Niagara Falls while topping a pie with custom favorites like fresh arugula, prosciutto, and buffalo mozzarella, to name a few.

Then, head over to the Skylon Tower via a secret shortcut. Have a camera ready because there’s a stunning photo op at the end of the trail. Learn fun facts about the falls while strolling through Niagara Parks, with a stop at the Oakes Garden Theatre, a centrally located, spectacular garden which serves as the entrance-way to Queen Victoria Park at the foot of Clifton Hill.

That’s right, Clifton Hill, with its bright lights and busyness, serves as the entertainment hub of Niagara Falls, complete with a wide variety of attractions — and food — namely homemade meatballs and pasta to sample. Meet some of the local chefs here and enjoy some finishing gelato, the perfect ending to this walking and food tour.

This was the first tour we did with Viator and it was truly wonderful! We stated at a little pizza shop that served authentic Italian pizza, we ate delectable meatballs at a pasta restaurant, and a local fry bread. The food was incredible and the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. But by far the best part was the gelato at the Italian Ice Cream. The shop owner was very kind and the locally made gelato was absolutely divine and we returned two more times before we left. Our guide gave us insights as to other enjoyable things to do in Niagara Falls and even dropped us off at the butterfly conservatory and showed us a beautiful walk back to our hotel. It was a wonderful day and very memorable.

Gary, our host and guide, was very good and accommodating. He even took us back to our hotel after the walk was over! All that being said it is not a tour we would recommend. Most of what we covered we had seen already and the food stops were not all that exciting except the ice cream stop at the end.
