Experience the beauty of an illuminated Niagara Falls at night on this up-close, 40-minute sightseeing cruise. Travel through the Niagara Gorge on a state-of-the-art, double-decker catamaran ship to the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian Horseshoe Falls at night for one of the most spectacular views of this incredible natural wonder. With mobile tickets, simply scan your phone for direct entry onto the cruise.
  • Niagara Falls nighttime cruise
  • Enjoy panoramic views from a double-decker catamaran
  • Admire the colorful illumination of American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls
  • Listen to music and take in the lit-up city skyline
  • Watch fireworks burst over the falls on certain nights
  • Purchase snacks and beverages at the onboard bar
  • With mobile tickets, simply scan your phone for direct entry onto the cruise.
Climb on board a state-of-the-art, 700-passenger catamaran cruise ship to begin a Falls Illumination Cruise like no other. There are two tiers on the ship — an upper and lower deck — plus an enclosed area that’s covered by glass, safe from the elements.
Pick a spot, enjoy the music and get ready for the fun to begin.

The ship will drift into the Niagara Gorge before cruising past the illuminated American and Bridal Veil Falls. Get a poncho ready because it’s now evident things are going to get really wet for those on the ship’s outer decks, at the edge of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, in all its nighttime splendor. Feel the cool spray and the powerful sounds of the water in front of the ship, with the lights of the gorgeous city skyline to the side — and on the right night, a fireworks display* overhead. This 40-minute Niagara Falls Illumination Cruise is the viewing experience of a lifetime.

*Fireworks take place on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings as well as Canadian holidays until October 29th. Fireworks performances are weather permitting. See Additional Info for more details.

We were not able to go on this tour as we had planned to do. You had to drive to the port at nite as the tour did not pick you up at your hotel.

Illumination Night Cruise was wonderful- The itinary stated for the Horn blower night ilIumination, beer, wine and bbq. Arrived early for the bbg. There was no BBQ, they had a kiosk set up on patio served sausage on a bun, corn dog, or pita type snack foods. Very disappointed. If hungry before cruise, eat elsewhere prior. I wrote a review for the Deluxe Sight-seeing Tour American and Canadian sides which I noted as fabulous.. I forgot to mention the food stop on this tour. I do strongly suggest packing your own lunch. The restaurant we visited was awful- Long lines, long wait time for food, and food was not good at all and very pricey for sandwiches and burgers. Everyone was complaining about the food at this stop. Would have rather had McDonalds than what was offered. Guide gave us 45 minutes to eat and shop in stores adjacent to restaurant, due to slow service for food, barely had time to shop. Due to food issues on both tours, only giving a 4 star- All in all, both Cruise and Full day tours were fun--

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ABOUT FIREWORKS!! Website clearly states that fireworks take place on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings as well as Canadian holidays until October 29th.... We book this tour specifically for Sunday evening so we can enjoy fireworks. Yet, when we got there we casually asked one of the crew members and they said fireworks only runs Mondays-Fridays, never on a Sunday. Nice job Hornblower Niagara Cruises, we'll make sure not to book anything with you again. Also, they offer an early check-in with ..our fine Niagara wines, local craft beer, live musical entertainment and BBQ. This was a joke. I do not consider burgers from a food-truck literally a food truck! a fine dining. MacDonald serves better than them! The 40mins cruise was OK. You do not have to take their cruise to enjoy the illumination of the falls. It can be seen anywhere from the Canadian side.

After touring the Falls during the day we were excited to see the Falls illuminated. On the Maid of the Mist we did did wet but on this boat we got drenched. The water came down pm us in buckets/ It was very hard to take pictures b/c we both wore glasses which were covered in water drops. The pictures we were able to take were not very good. The illumination of the Falls was not as bright and beautiful as the post cards and other professionals. We were able to get better pictures on land than on the boat. Unfortunately, we were standing next to a very loud family. I don't know who was worse - the father or the children. After we had seen all the Falls and had enough water splashed on us and our glasses, we went down below and enjoyed a very nice conversation with a couple we just met. They do serve food and drinks on board but don't come expecting to eat dinner at your leisure. This boat is the same boat they use during the day for tours plus you want to get a good viewing spot which I found to be at the back of the boat no people in the way for pictures. If I were going to do this again I would go on a night when they had fire works.

We signed up for the Illumination Night Cruise, however, the information that we received with the booking gave us the incorrect cruise time. We arrived as instructed by 9 p.m., only to find out that the Ilumination Night Cruise had already sailed, at 8:15, and the Fireworks cruise was the one leaving at 9:30. So, we did not get to see the Illumination Night Cruise. We were given the Fireworks cruise in exchange, but that's not what we signed up for. Also, the information stated that there was the opportunity to have dinner while waiting for the cruise ... not so. There were only drinks and chips. Not dinner. Had we known that, we would have eaten dinner prior to arriving!

We had a very nice time on this cruise. The falls were beautifully lit and the fireworks were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this. Got a little wet but was worth it. The only down side was the convenience of parking.
