Why Travelers Choose This Tour
Waiting in line for the USS Arizona Memorial typically requires a whole morning. This lets you bypass it and walk straight in.
Your tour will begin with pickup from your hotel. You’ll then head to Pearl Harbor to skip the line and re-live the historical moment that brought the United States into World War II. The USS Arizona Memorial honors the 1,777 crew members who lost their lives during the attack on December 7, 1941. You’ll see original footage from the fateful day in the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center along with other artifacts. Then, hop aboard your vehicle once more to head to downtown Honolulu. You’ll drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific and see the only royal residence existing in America, the Iolani Palace. Once your 5-hour excursion concludes, you will be driven back to your hotel.
Picked up in time, navigated some heavy traffic whilep providing a narration of Hawaii's history and the sights along the way. Arrived at Petal Harbor and provided adequate time to explore a and see the movie and boat your of the memorial.
Our tour guide was amazing! She was passionate about Honolulu and shared so many interesting things with us. She had a great sense of humor and made the trip to punchbowl and Pearl Harbor very interesting for all of us. She also did a great job of reminding us of the importance of the places we visited and helped me remember the respect that needs to be given to those lost at Pearl Harbor. My teenage son and daughter also thoroughly enjoyed the tour, which is a great accomplishment. They even commented that they could have spent more time and seen more. Wow! The only unfortunate part of our tour was that we could not actually go on the Arizona Memorial. This was out of our tour guide's control. We would have loved to have gone on the memorial.
I wish that we had been notified that you cannot access the Arizona Memorial (according to the staff at the memorial, you haven't been able to do so for almost a year) We were not told of this when booking, nor did our driver provide this information. If I had known, I would have booked to go on the USS Missouri instead.
Troy was our guide, he did a great job of explaining the history of Hawaii, Pearl Harbor and events that have shaped this beautiful place, well worth the tour price to not stand in line for Arizona tickets.
I thought that Garfield (Gar) has a whole lot of knowledge which without any hesitation imparts it to the people on the coach and without a doubt makes it very interesting and humorous at that. Thanks for sending Gar on our trip.
This tour was very disappointing. I prebooked this tour weeks before we arrived in Hawaii but on the day of the tour we were told only minutes before boarding the ferry which actually takes you out to the USS Arizona that we would not be able to actually hop onto the site as the dock had been under repair for weeks. Therefore the ferry only cruised past the sunken ship which meant you couldn't see a thing. As this was the main reason for booking this particular tour i feel we should have been informed of this prior to the day and then we could have seen the USS Missouri or the Bowfin Submarine instead. Very disappointing!!!! I understand its a case of bad timing disappointed that we were not offered any compensation.
Excellent tour - short, we would have liked more time in the museums. Our guide Tommy Chong was excellent - again knowledgeable and humorous. Enjoyed the city tour and the tour of Punchbowl. We definitely know where to spend our time when we visit Oahu. Thanks to our guide.
One can not go to Honolulu and go to Pearl Harbor! The lines there can get long and they some times run out of tickets for the Memorial. So booking a tour is the way to go for sure. This tour also included a trip up to The Punchbowl. What a beautiful and very humbling day.
