Meet your guide at your hotel for an early morning departure. Head to the banks of the Corobici River in the Tempisque Conservation Area, and hop into a stable raft. Let your guide navigate the Class I and II rapids as you float down the river, keeping your eyes peeled for sightings of wildlife.
The region is known as a nesting ground for migrating water birds, like herons, egrets, ibis, roseate spoonbills, and storks. Other wildlife known to populate the area includes howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, iguanas, and crocodiles. Your guide will help you spot these creatures and learn about their behavior as you go.
At the end of your rafting trip, enjoy a typical Costa Rican picnic lunch on the riverbank, including rice, beans, salad, plantains, vegetable stew, and your choice of fish, pork, chicken, or beef. Vegetarian options are also available; advise upon booking.
After eating, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
Please note: A minimum of 2 people per booking is required.
