Great way to get oriented with the city for first-time visitors
If you're looking to get oriented with the city of Prague, I highly recommend this tour. It was very informative and fun, and it covers all of the major historical areas of the city (New Town, Old Town, Jewish Quarter, etc).
Just be sure that you can keep up with all of the walking. There is a LOT (although it was probably worse for us because it was a very hot day, and the tour guide had to translate everything in two languages). Once you leave the bus, it's all walking until the one-hour boat ride at the end.
The tour guide was great. Spoke good English, was funny, and was easy to hear with her microphone. There was an awesome group on my tour as well. I really enjoyed meeting my fellow tourists.
Good informative trip, although the weather was freezing and snowing it was still a good trip. We saw all the main areas of Prague and the guide Eve knew everything about the places we visited, she was very good. There was a lot of walking so may it be the trip fir the less able.
Very extremely general overview of Prague. You don't even get to go in the places of interest, just walking around them.
Guide was so lifeless and dull. She introduced herself to us in the bus without even looking at us. Just sat down with her back facing us and talking ahead. You would at least think she would bother turning to look at us when introducing herself but nope, that was too much to ask.
Very impersonal, distant and boring.
A lot of walking definitely but that's expected. They said a minivan but it was actually a bus and there were a lot of us in the group.
I would say no, don't bother doing this tour. Not worth the price.
There were only 3 of us on the tour as we were in Prague off season. Maria, our guide was very knowledgeable and thorough and gave useful insights. She put perspective of the Czech history in a way that I didnt realize before
So much to see! Well organised and efficient. There is quite a bit of walking involved and hope you are lucky and get better weather than I did. The guide was very good and was able to overcome all these problems.
