Eco Jungle - 3 Days / 2 Nights

The tour was ok but if you read the itennerary you would expect more. At least I did. The first day was only 3 times 1 hour of active tour. Not 6 like ir says on the site. Monkey Island is also no guarantee and there is only 1 kind of monkey species on the island because mankind put them there. We were lucky but there are guests who didnt see them. Second day was better but there too it says 12 hours which is not true. We were active from about 5 till about noon with almost an hour of doing nothing at a homestay. After lunch there was nothing at all untill 6.30, an hour walk before dinner. The last morning we did the canopy walk. The way there was a bit wet according to our guide so we got boots, uou expact that to be sufficiant. I took my expencive camera and ended up with flooded boots and water up to my bum. Teryfied I would fall and damage my camera. If I had known I would nor have taken it with me. Food was great though

Our tour guide Daniel was really good. He was willing to go extra mile to fulfill guests' needs Got an opportunity to meet owner Carlos and his family. Very nice person. Our flight was an evening flight. He made arrangements for special drop off. Overall, good experience.

We did a three day tour in Puerto Maldonado. The lodge (Monte Amazonico) was really beautiful. It had a swimming pool and the basic comfort we needed. The excursions were really nice, but due to the rain we didn't see that much animals. Our guide, Grimaldo, however did all he could to show us as many animals as possible, even in between the excursions. An unforgettable experience in a very lovely place!

Una experiencia que no olvidaré nunca. La isla de los monos dando plátanos a los monitos, en el Lago Sandoval vimos variedad de aves, monos en su hábitat natural, tortugas, murciélagos. Todo es tan impresionante y pasaron los 3 días tan rápido. No hay internet y luz y electricidad solo de 4:30 a 9:30 ni falta que hacen. Escuchar solo el canto de los pájaros es tan relajante. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
