See wild dolphins and other marine animals during a 3-hour kayak tour from Rainbow Beach. Hundreds of dolphins live in these waters and they often frolic close to the kayaks. Also keep on the lookout for sea turtles, humpback whales (seasonal from June to October), sea birds, manta rays and large schools of fish. Your expert guide provides easy instructions for kayaking; no prior experience is needed. Bonus: your trip starts with a fun ride on the beach by 4WD-vehicle to the boat launch only accessible by 4WD at Double island Point.
I know it’s not their fault since the dolphins are wild animals, but they didn’t show up on our day there, which makes it pretty expensive for just kayaking. Maybe they should do some partial refund for people that don’t get luck enough to see it. Overall, the staff is great!
Hi Victor, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you didnt see dolphins on your tour but hope you enjoyed the other wildlife. It is very rare this time of year and we see them 90% of the time however as we are in the wild on the ocean we can do our best but it is not guaranteed. The location we take you in the Marine Park is generally very good for dolphin spotting as you can only access it around low tide along the beach and marine life enjoy the remoteness and schools of fish to feed there. It's great to hear you thought the staff were great i do also hope you enjoyed the beach 4x4 trip into the National Park, coloured sands, guided paddle with turtles and Humpback whale the guides said you saw pass by. As a 3 hour tour with all the inclusions in this unique kayak experience most of the feedback from clients is that it is good value. Thanks for coming along and enjoy the rest of your travels :)
