Not recommend. Will change to different tour group next time

Three issues. 1) started so late so we missed the sunset in the cliff. 2) no picnic in the desert but other tour group are sitting on the nice blanket in the edge and enjoyed dinner. 3) no camel meat. Just some simple dinner at one restaurant. Bad experience

A perfect trip to Edge of the World

Everything was perfect! Edge of the World is a beautiful place that’s definitely a must-go when you’re in Riyadh. My husband & I normally visit places ourselves but we were SO happy we decided to do a tour instead since the drive there is kind of wild without a guide. It was also such a fun experience to meet other travellers and have dinner with them after going to Edge of the World too. & we loved our guide Turki, he was so much fun! Would highly recommend this tour company!!

I highly recommend these guys (Riyadh Hiking) for this activity - Faisal and Abdulmohsen and their team were incredibly spot-on with timing (we got there before other tour groups swarmed the Edge of the World (there are around 4-5 viewing areas - and get ready to hike up at least 2 of them). Total of four 4x4s with around 15 guests in total, so it wasn't really crowded. The weather was also quite decent, despite it being the middle of summer. We wrapped up just after sunset and thought the trip was over. Nope! These guys took us to a pretty cool little spot near a dam where they prepared a simple, incredibly tasty meal, right there and then - an authentic experience, not a "desert camp" for tourists. I'm an experienced off-roader myself, and these guys really whipped up something special. And the evening temperatures had dropped a bit, so it was pretty comfortable sitting, eating and chatting with each other. Then there was the 10-minute hike up the camp spot to the top of the plateau behind. Being a moonless night, I was, for the first time in my life, able to see the Milky Way unaided - and got some great shots with my iPhone. Would I do it again? YES - without a doubt, and I'm looking forward to tying out their other activities like the Red Sand Dunes in 2 months when the weather gets cooler. Pro tip - bring around 3 x 500ml bottles of water per person. Always good to have some cool drinking water on hand, but these guys were quick to pass around bottles of cold water after the 1.5-2 hours we got to hike around the area looking at that incredible vista from different angles!

A must do if you are in Riyadh! Breathtaking experience, and one of the most beautifull places I've visited. The meal/BBQ was superb! Nice big cars, I missed a bit more information from the guide, he was more of "just a driver", and they drived very aggressevly and was constantly texting / on the phone even in high speed / dense trafic. Did not feel safe.

Wonderful Evening Tour

This tour was a wonderful experience! Zamil was out tour guide and he did a fantastic job. He was a great driver, an attentive host, and very well educated in the area. He served us arabic coffee and mahmool at a picnic at sunset. We were then taken to a traditional restaurant before returning to the pick up location. I highly recommend this tour as well as Zamil as a guide.

Very unique experience, everything was perfect : - started on time, very small group - good and comfortable drive in 4x4 to the Edge of the World (with water and local ice cream!). We has thought about renting a car and go on our own… finally we were happy we didn’t do it, too adventurous without knowing the way. - 2 friendly and helpful guides who took us to the nicest spots for photos and views, and let us time to sit and watch this extraordinary natural scenery. Let’s mention it is perfectly doable without having a perfect condition, there is no long hiking (but as there are rocks, avoid flip-flops and wear sneakers or hiking shoes!) - and a surprising dinner : in the middle of the desert, carpets and foldable kind of sofas were installed so that the participants can enjoy this moment comfortably. Faisal prepared for us a delicious Camel stew (and chicken for those who weren’t sure!) with rice and vegetables. We had the chance to drink arabic coffee or tea, and during the waiting for the food (freshly prepared on site!) or just later, several activities like archery or shooting were offered, but the conversations in the group were also much enjoyable (visitors in Saudi Arabia tend to have travelled a lot before and have much to share). We booked the activity to discover the Edge of the World, but we received much more, and there was a lot of dedication from the team that we really appreciated. This is why discovering Edge of the World with Riyadh Hiking is, to our opinion, a sure value : we feel it is well deserved to take the time to write this review as we experienced a very special moment, extremely memorable.

Very fun hike

This is one price for the entire car which allows for 1-3 people. I bought two tickets and thought it was expensive, they did correct this without having to contact them, I think that was very nice and honorable. The tour guide was a very nice man and did an excellent job. It was a very cool hike and I am glad we did it. I only give this 4 stars and not 5 only because I kindly suggest that they offer hotel pick up and drop off at this price. I would recommend doing this if you're in Saudi Arabia.

We don’t do pick up at the hotels because most of people staying at the center and our trips starting from 2pm witch is a rush hour, if we go to pick up people at the hotel in the center it will be difficult to go to the center and leave from there . We also we having other people living in different places. It will be easy for everyone to gather somewhere that everyone can come easily

Great trip! We took the 4x4 option, riding in a tricked out Toyota. Amazing driver took us on a thrilling ride through the desert and to some great vantage points ahead of the hike. The hike was fun with the tour guides giving assistance as needed and ensuring we all had a safe trip (parts of the trail are bit tougher than others - make sure to wear good shoes). Fantastic views out off the edge and also looking back at the cliff. The dinner afterwards was also great, driving a bit away from the edge. Sitting under the stars and listening to music, playing some games and having a fabulous meal cooked by a fun team. Great trip to go on solo (everyone was so friendly!) but also good for families!

The trip was amazing. The views were breathtaking but Faad our guide made this the best trip of my life . With the camels, exploring the bat cave, the hidden valley, the edge of the world and the Barbaque this was easily the best value of anything I’ve purchased in Saudi

A Riyad Hiking Tours (operadora) subcontrata um motorista para fazer o passeio. Em relação ao passeio, foi ótimo e recomendo. Em relação à operadora, eu achei péssimo o atendimento. Cancelaram um passeio de city tour no dia anterior sem qualquer razão convincente. Eles têm sérios problemas de comunicação. Não entram em contato com o cliente e quase não respondem às mensagens enviadas. Decepcionante o serviço dessa operadora.

Sorry that, We tried to help you but you didn’t help us , you didn’t even contact the customer service to book, you contacted the manager while he is in vacation and we tried to help you 2 weeks for the trip, you didn’t pay for your booking but we made the plans for your trip. Till few days before the trip you asked for 4x4 cars and quad bike for everyone from the compound for 40 people and all of that only for 250SAR per person witch is not fair , you said if we don’t provide that you will have to cancel the trip with so we decided to cancel the trip. We have cars for our company and if we need more we will rent more cars from the rental companies.
