I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Nov 2019
The stage was too dark couldn’t see the faces of the performers. There were no subtitles it was in Italian. You had to pay for a booklet with subtitles which was hard to read. The music was good but I wouldn’t go again.

A night at the opera

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Oct 2019
Booked to go with a friend who really likes the opera who seemed to quite enjoy it, although have seen better elsewhere. It was quite a nice atmosphere and we had dinner in a box which was okay but the service was somewhat erratic but think this was due to a shortage of staff and the food was basic and could have been a lot warmer. I would recommend eating elsewhere before or after the opera.

Night of Beautiful Music!

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: Enchanting Opera Arias | Oct 2019
Excellent performance, live musical quintet accompaniment, and the performers were spectacular in their voices and theatricality! Most especially, it was the best opportunity to hear authentic Italian opera in Rome, for the price!

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Sep 2019
A truly wonderful evening of great theatre and food, all in a single package. Well worth the cost. Theatre is a lovely delightfully old fashioned, a place where top hats and so on would not be out of place. Delightful staff, great menu, excellent singing, what more could you want?

Absolutely mesmerizing

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: Enchanting Opera Arias | Aug 2019
The church was absolutely beautiful, the selections were mesmerizing and the singers commanded the audience. The only downside was it was extremely hot, with almost no air movement. They did have little fans, however it seemed we were in the row without one. We only stayed half way through the performance as I was sweating through my dress and my partner felt light headed. Regardless would love to come back in the cooler months!

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Aug 2019
This was perhaps the only one and most dissatisfying part of our tour to Italy for 11 days! The reporting time mentioned on the voucher was 7,30 P.M and we promptly arrived at 7.15 P.M ( even though we had to almost struggle to get there as we had finished another full day tour just a while back and had to get back to the hotel to wash and change our attire due the exceptionally hot day in Rome and dressing up right for the Opera ).But the organizers did not seem to respect the time of tourists like us having very limited time on hand! This was our second and final night in magical Rome and we had plans for the evening with some friends over dinner in a nice place at Piazza Navona..The Theatre organizers seemed to be literally calling people from the street and were trying to fill up the seats of an otherwise vacant theatre ! It was extremely hot inside with nil air conditioning and there were no apologies given for making us wait for much more than an hour as the show actually started at 8.40 P.M - once it started we though appreciated the efforts of the performers ( and we aren't Opera illiterates by the way! ) -we were losing patience , feeling extremely suffocated and uncomfortable inside( guys put make shift fans the least !) We tried to justify the visit with due respect for the performers as well as our time and money but finally gave up after act 2 at about 9.45 P.M - of what could have been a beautiful evening went for a six and our mood was absolutely spoilt, while our friends had moved on to another place ! What a disaster - How rude and unjustified to the people who turn up on time !!!! A complete waste and a scam even though the performance we saw was fine! Our last night in Rome diluted by the unprofessionalism of this theatre. Tired , we ventured back to our hotel and never saw Piazza at night!! Sad, Sad Very Sad!!

Enjoyed it

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Jun 2019
Beautiful setting. A meal was included in the price, although when I booked online there was not clear if the meal was included in price or not. There was also a delay in starting the show, but we accepted it, taking into account that we were in Italy, where 5 minutes means sometime 30. The musicians were brilliant. The singers were very good as well. There is a bar and during the breaks you can buy a drink. An excellent atmosphere.

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: Enchanting Opera Arias | May 2019
Not to be missed. This presents an opportunity to enjoy the talents of opera singers in a stunning church with a small but immensely talented musicians. Our group of 4 had just arrived into Rome and this was a relaxing opportunity to hear sections of famous and familiar sections of opera. well done!

I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma: La Traviata Ticket | Sep 2018

La Traviata at the Salon Margarita was outstanding. We decided to go to an Opera and this was the only performance we could find taking place during our stay in Rome. We were not at all disappointed in this small production in a very quaint theater. I doubt many visitors to Rome will even search for this event and it is one you should not miss. Thanks to the cast and the orchestra for a great evening!
