San Antonio Cruise Port - CityTour and Wine Tour in Maipo Valley from Santiago

Very nice tour with good guide. Enjoyable stop at small local vineyard and this tour did not cost much more money than booking an airport transfer from the cruise lines directly without any stops or tour of the city.

After spending a day in Santiago we had to figure out how to get to our cruise ship in San Antonio Port this tour delivered above our expectations. We had a private tour with Emanuel and he provided the perfect compliment of local knowledge and personal insights that made for a most enjoyable day. After morning pickup we spend 2 hours touring the city and getting out to experience some of the key sights in Santiago. Then we were off to a winery in the Maipo Valley. We visited the Undurraga Winery and joined a small group tour for this segment. Again, our winery guide was excellent, and wines were good as well. The last leg was the drive to port of San Antonio, even with a little traffic we made it to pier in plenty of time for boarding. Emanuel told us about his experiences as tour guide and plans for new trips as their business grows. We left the city and country Chile with a better understanding of the people, landscape , and culture of Chile and recommend this tour to others. One of the highlights of our entire trip.

This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was outstanding. He had spent time in US and had a wonderful command of English and could give us comparisons to US. We loved the tour of Valparaiso! We were a small group of 6. I would highly recommend this tour as a way to get from Santiago to a cruise ship in San Antonio.

We were picked up at the pier in San Antonio. Its still a work in progress. The ride back up to Santiago was ok. Our guide was ok but not great. We were taken to a little village for coffee at 10am which none of the 6 of us wanted. Our guide disappeared for about 45 minutes so no help with language. He did this a lot. He spoke good English but disappeared when we stopped anywhere. The wine tour was nice but since we were getting on a plane we couldnt buy any. Then lunch at a downtown restaurant specializing in fish. Our guide didnt ask us what we wanted to eat. Just took us we had no choice. Im sure he made something off that trip. It was close to the market but we werent allowed to shop. Then we went to the castle on the mountain overlooking Main Street it was a nice view but the history and current use of it was missing. All in all it was better than sitting in the airport for 10 hours but it certainly was expensive and not really worth 200. We never saw anything of Valparaiso that would have been nice. We were dropped at the airport at 6pm

The City tour was well organized and covered a few of the major attraction points. The Winery portion was informative and its wine was superb. The main objective of this tour was to get to the cruise terminal on time, which we had achieved.

This tour deserves 5 stars and a big recommendation. The tour organizer reached out to us one day prior the tour to confirm the pickup location, was on time and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable its a family business , friendly and we enjoyed every minute. This tour combines fantastic sightseeing, wine tour with breathtaking views, and transport to the port.

The driver and guide were right on time at the San Antonio Port and we drove to Santiago. We stopped at a cute village for shopping and snack, then drove to a beautiful winery. The guide there was wonderful. It was the Undurraga winery and it was beautiful. We bought a few bottles to go! Then into Santiago to a wonderful restaurant downtown. Lots of food and great atmosphere. Then a tour around the city and to our hotel. It was perfect! Thanks for all the good work you do.

We booked this tour to get from our hotel in Santiago to our Celebrity cruise ship in San Antonio, and we were glad we did. The service was excellent- they picked us up on time right in our hotel lobby and we made it to the port in plenty of time, even considering it was a holiday and the traffic was bad. We got a great tour of all the highlights in Santiago, and the winery tour was one of the best we'd ever been on. Lunch was also fantastic at a great authentic Chilean restaurant with live music and dancing. The highlight of the trip however was not the excursions, but our tour guide Rod. Rod was informative, helpful, accommodating, but most of all FUNNY!!! His jokes kept us rolling all day long and we had an excellent time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone else.

You continue to please us with your tours. All went well from San Antonio to Santiago, and on to the airport. Good tour, we will continue to contact you first before any other group for our future needs , we have NEVER been disappointed with VIATOR. Looking forward to future travel, hopefully soon.
