Receive a morning pickup from your San Juan hotel in the Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde, or Rio Grande areas. You’ll travel for approximately 45 minutes from the city to the scenic El Yunque Rainforest, where you’ll start your visit at the El Portal Visitor Center.

Leave the visitor center and head to La Coca Waterfall where you’ll have time to take a few photos. Depending on time, you’ll continue to the Yokahu Tower, then head to Caimitillo Trail for a 20-minute walk and, time permitting, explore La Mina Waterfall (1.5-hour walk) where you can take a swim. During your visit you’ll also look for the numerous plant and animal species that call this unique ecological area home.

After your visit to El Yunque continue to Luquillo Beach, a sandy spot that’s well-known among locals. You’ll have two hours to sunbathe, swim, and relax at this picturesque location before heading back to San Juan to get dropped off at your hotel.

The rain forest and beach were simply amazing. Debbie is a great and knowledgable tour guide. Tip for more time enjoying the beach portion of the trip. Pack your lunch and snacks! My daughter and I did and we were able to enjoy the full experience of both.

Debbie was our tour guide. She went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. She even got my husband and Me a local treat and brought it to us at the visitors center. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Of all of the tours I have ever been on, she is, hands down, the BEST‼️
