Florencia is an AWESOME guide!

Our tour guide, Florencia, took us through markets and around the city. The food we tasted was quite good. When crowds got quite dense (due to a city-wide demonstration going on in Santiago), Flo tucked us into a microbrewery where we spent the next several hours after the tour just talking and enjoying more of what Santiago has to offer. Flo went above and beyond, and at the end of the day made sure we were in a cab heading back to our hotel. Well done! And thank you.

Great walking tour in Santiago

I thought this was a great walking tour of the city. In addition to eating some local food, I received great insight into the history of, and the protests taking place in Chile. Tour guides were really friendly and enaging.

Great Walking Tour

I arranged this tour for a group of four and were pleased that we ended up with an exclusive tour. We were even more pleased with our tour guide J (Juan Paulo) who was extraordinary. He also works as a history teacher and was able to blend history, architecture , culture and food into a great introduction to the historical center of Santiago. J is witty and amusing with excellent English skills and the food selections were diverse and offered great quality as well as sensitivity to the two non meat eaters in our group. Stay away from the bus tours and get a real taste of the city from a terrific guide. Very highly recommended.

Always worth while

Flo our tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and nice! I enjoyed the history part of the walking tour but wasn’t so fond of the food choices. I was also disappointed that we didn’t get to go up the tram to over look the city as was described in the brochure. However, I always enjoy seeing different parts of the city that we wouldn’t have seem and learned about otherwise.

Worthwhile Santiago Food Tour

Tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting and did well to,accommodate a non-meat-eater. Tour would be better with much less time spent in the seafood market; which was stinky and unappealing, although it was good to learn not to eat the local salmon due to over-use of anti-biotics.
