The Grand Tour of St. Kitts

One of my favorite tour, we enjoyed every single spot we visited. The tour guide was fantastic, very kind and funny also, we had a lot of fun. Thank you very much!

Our tour with Mr Grey was the best of our Caribbean cruise. First, the welcoming reception in St Kitts was friendly, the only island where we felt welcomed for more than our wallets. Mr Grey’s staff met us at the welcome center and escorted us to the bus, cool, clean and comfortable. Me Grey took us around the city, giving us a brief history of the island and government. We then left town for a tour of the island, the rainforest, the fort, the beach/resort area and finally back to port. Mr Grey knows the island well but he also knows much more which he delighted us all with his knowledge.

Mr. Grey is an excellent tour guide. You can tell he loves his country and his tour business! He shared some U.S. History relating to St. Kitts/Nevis that I think most Americans might be unaware of. On his tour you travel up into the mountains/rainforest and can observe local culture and lifestyle. You also see sites advertised for the excursion. You get off the bus and have some time to do a little exploring. You don’t just sit on the bus all day. He had his own driver so he gave his undivided attention to the tour. His driver was excellent on the steep, narrow and winding roads, (I felt very comfortable and I am the worst backseat driver on the planet). The bus is the small white buses common in the Caribbean and were easy and fast to get on and off. The bus had good air conditioning. I would go on this excursion again if I am lucky enough to return to St. Kitts.

Mr. Grey is the most professional tour guide we've encountered in the Caribbean. He is well-spoken, well-read, and very knowledgeable of the history of St Kitts and region. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing so. A warning though: Beware of his puns. They can be painful. Thank you again for a great day on St Kitts.

Excellent in all respects. Timely pick up, clean air conditioned transportation, itinerary covered top sight seeing spots including entrance fees, etc. So nice to have a knowledgeable tour operator. Mr Grey is a fantastic historian and host.

What a wonderful day! We saw so much of the island from the Fortress to the batik factory with its gorgeous gardens, to an overlook where you can see both the Atlantic and the Caribbean to Shipwreck Beach. Our group was small -- seven. Our guide, Calvin (I think) was phenomenal. His knowledge of the island's history was impressive. Best part was his love and respect for the plants and flowers of St. Kitts. Every now and then he would stop the van, hop out and pick a blossom or leaves, which he would then pass around for us to smell and touch. He would explain how they were prepared or used for health purposes. Fun and fascinating. Beach was a little rough for swimming, but a beautiful spot to relax, enjoy some island beer and glimpse a few monkeys.

Vorab wurden wir per Email nochmals über den Treffpunkt informiert. Das Abholen hat sehr gut geklappt. Der Reiseführer hat die Tour wie beschrieben durchgeführt und auf Wunsch der Gäste den Strandaufenthalt noch etwas verlängert. Die Beschreibungen waren ausführlich genug.
