Do not book this package!!! STAY AWAY

It’s a misleading advertising. I’ve booked this trip with my girlfriend and the expectations were totally missed. The show at Robot Restaurant costs 8.000 per person. I payed more than 34.000 yen.. and the dinner that we received was less than 5.400 yen value. They are not supporting me in receiving my money back.. STAY AWAY

The robot show was great but we have been quite disappointed with the restaurant. When booking this activity, we sent an inquiry for the vegeterian meal. We have never received any comment on that from either Viator or the provider itself but when we came to the restaurant we were served a meat and fish set with just a small salad on the side. Staff spoke, of course, Japanese only so when we tried to ask if they have ever received our inquiry about vegeterian meal, the waiter said that it's a set that can be only served as it is. It could have been nice to get a follow-up when it's not possible to order a vegeterian option and not to pay for a meal you can't eat. So, vegeterians, be aware when you book this activity combination. Otherwise, the show itself was fun and is definitely recommended.

Prior to the show and throughout, there was a constant push to buy drinks and food. It was over the top how often they were pushing purchases. The seating is EXTREMELY tight. We were on the bottom row and it was difficult with people getting in and out. The person behind my husband spilled his beer on him from knocking it down accidently. The show itself was pretty good. After, you had to climb quite a bit of steps to get out. Dinner at the restaurant was okay. The food was pretty good but we had to keep waiting for each dish. There was 6 of us sharing each dish that took anywhere from 5-10 minutes to come out. We had to open the sliding door and track down the waitress several times to ask if the rest of the food was coming.

The Samurai Restaurant was great - very Oishi food! The Cabaret was different I enjoyed it and it is probably good to go and see it just to see the craziness. The way they do their ticketing is a little strange and confusing but was all ok in the end.

Not quite sure how to really rate...

Not quite sure how to really rate this one. Should it be five starts because it is so..? or should it be almost no stars? I am not sure about why it is the number 1 thing to do in Tokyo but it will get you into quite the nightlife and just over the top crowds of tourists. If you want a different angle of robots well then you have found it here. You will find no one who goes to this show actually from Japan. This does not pretend to be anything else but over the top cheesy show of bling and other eye popping lights. I doubt people in Japan would steer you this way to see this show. Would I go back?? Maybe? It is a bit of a younger crowd so don't bring your grandmother unless she is up for all of this. You will come out laughing at the over the top type of lights and robots. Again be prepared that the Robot restaurant is NOT a restaurant. Your restaurant will be in a different location and so be prepared to have both places translated into Kanji when trying to find the two on your own.

Great atmosphere, fun presentation, tasty food but very small amount. I left the restaurant feeling a bit ripped off having paid for a dinner and only got a few tiny portions.
