There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Toronto and its trendy Distillery District.

Riding on a Segway isn’t rocket science, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a bustling city like Toronto. So this tour begins in the historic Distillery District with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. A helmet and safety equipment are provided.

With the training out of the way, it’s time to take it to the streets.

On this 30-minute Segway tour around the Distillery District, cruise along the pedestrian-only brick roads and alleyways that pass the many modern sculptures, designer boutiques, unique pubs and cafés, artisan shops, art galleries and award-winning restaurants.

This internationally acclaimed, pedestrian-only village features more than 70 ground-floor cultural and retail establishments in the restored red brick, Victorian-era buildings of the old Gooderham and Worts whiskey distillery. Gooderham and Worts was once the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in Canada.

The Distillery District is the place to see and be seen. It’s not just one of Toronto’s hottest tourist attractions, it’s one of Canada’s most popular. Hop on a Segway and discover it in style.

We weren't sure we would be able to master a Segway, being 'mature' adults, but after only a minute or two it was completely comfortable. The maneuvering is very intuitive and no one should be afraid to give it a try. The Distillery District is quite small and 30 minutes was plenty of time to be able to see everything. 30 minutes was also the perfect amount of time for a new rider, as muscles you never use for anything else were definitely noticeable after that.

The District is very nicely renovated and has several shops that were worth checking out after we were done with the tour. Don't miss the Fluevog shoe store!!!

Awesome, me and my 14 year old son loved this segway tour. First time for both on a Segway, very easy to learn and fun to ride. Streets were crowded but no problems maneuvering. Tour guide Joseph? was great. We wish we would have done the 60 minute tour. This area was very cool with lots of shops and restaurants. Would do again.

Great Tour. I really recommend it.
The crew were very nice and very helpful. They teach you almost on a personal level to use the segway which is very easy to use.
And it is great to do with kids since there are almost no roads on the Distillery District.
Very much recommended

We had a fabulous time! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable on the Segway. We would highly recommend this trip to all. Our faces were hurting from laughing so much. Definitely a highlight of our Toronto trip. Then we easily walked to the St. Lawrence Market.

A fun way to learn about the history of the distillery district in Toronto. After a lesson on how to handle the segway it can be rather tricky!! we started a small group tour. The guides were very knowledgeable and helped keep us together. The tour lasted about 1/2 to 3/4 hour. My family all agreed it was a really enjoyable experience.

Guide was amazing. Tour was short, didn't go very far on the Segways for the price.
