An early start was rewarded by a wonderful day travelling from Vienna to Salzburg with Thomas our guide who was a wealth of knowledge about the surroundings areas and Salzburg itself.
He went above and beyond his remit to ensure the group understood instructions and was always ready to answer questions.
We enjoyed music by various composers whilst listening to their history.
We sang songs from Sound of Music to a CD of the musical.
Overall we had a day which exceeded our expectations made so by Thomas s knowledge consideration compassion and humour.
Very nice trip to Salzburg. Everything was on time, Doris our guide was amazing, she explained everything pwefectly in both english and spanish. The only thing that would make this trip perfect is maybe give less time to eat in the morning and evening in order to have more free time at Salzburg since there are so many nice things to see.
It was a worthwhile tour. It started with a very puntual pick up from my hotel. Helena our tour guide did a wonderful job explaining absolutely everything on the way and making sure everyone in the group had the best information. Salzburg is worth well the visit and the time was very well managed.
A nice FULL day tour, although it has a lot of driving, which is understandable because of the distance, it is still worth visiting, we had a great driver with a good guide, unfortunately it nearly rained all day, both the driver and the guide did theif best for us not to miss anything from yhe tour.
we were pleasantly surprised with this bus trip. Although it is far they broke up the trip nicely with scenic breaks. Salzurg is a beautiful. We enjoyed the walking tour, learned some new things, and sat for a fantastic lunch.
Mike our guide was very informative on the trip to and from Salzburg. Unfortunately only 1 guide turned up I. Salzburg so did the tour with 40 people and doing it in English and Spanish, we missed a lot of information as no microphone or he guide HD started in Spanish before we caught up and missed English translation. Ended up leaving tour early and exploring on our own. That was a little disappointing but not the guides fault to big a group for 1 guide.
We spent most of the time in the bus and less time to see the sights in Salzburg. Off the 13 hours, 9 hours were spent on the bus. Looking back, I'd take a train to Salzburg and still do all the sights in a day. The guides were good but the trip as a whole was poor.
