In the morning, our team will pick up from your Cairo or Giza hotel and transport you to the Bahariya Oasis. Yes - a real desert oasis! Once in Bahariya, we will have a small lunch before starting a Jeep adventure to the White Desert. On the way you will visit the Black Desert, the Crystal Mountain, the Akabat (sand) Desert & a natural hot spring. Later you will camp in the White Desert and our Bedouin friends will prepare a traditional Bedouin dinner for you by the campfire regaling you with stories from their rich history. Enjoy the most magical sunset and discover the secrets of the desert at night under the stars.
After you enjoy a breakfast feast prepared for you, we will drive back to the Bahariya Oasis by Jeep, transfer back to car upon reaching Cairo. Hike through areas around Cape Town that most tourists never visit with a guide on a trek. You don't have to worry about getting lost or consulting a map as you go; your guide will lead the way and point out everything worth seeing. We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided).
While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). Quite adventurous indeed.

Platteklip Gorge is the most straight forward direct ascent and the first route used by early explorers to reach the summit. This trail is the easiest but still gains around 700 meters over a distance of 3 km, so its quite steep. The path goes through a deep ravine on the iconic front face of the mountain and features stunning surroundings all the way to the top.
The routes takes between 1H30 to 3H to complete depending on one's fitness level. Hikers are advised to stop regularly along the way to marvel at the spectacular views.
