While people visit Napa Valley with the express purpose of drinking incredible wine and learning about the place and process, most wineries pour you a flight, blurt out a frenzied paragraph of wine words, and move right on to the next guest. I can provide you with a customized experience and true insight into the vineyards, the history and practices of the winery, and of course the wines themselves. Learning the fundamentals about why a wine tastes a certain way is a crucial step to understanding what you do or don't like, and gives you the vocabulary to dialogue freely with a sommelier or wine professional. No question is too basic, no topic off the table! I aim to provide a fun and educational tasting environment where everyone feels comfortable enough to ask all the burning wine question.
