The essence of a modern via ferrata is a steel cable which runs alongthe route and is periodically (every 1 to 10 meters (3.3 to 32.8 ft) fixed to the rock. Using a via ferrata kit, climbers can secure themselves to the cable. The cable can also be used as aid to climbing, and additional climbing aids, such as iron rungs (stemples), pegs, plus all the required ziplining equipment for the 3 short ziplines in the route. The Via Ferrata combines a 1km hiking/climbingroute across the mountain with 3 ziplines. 20 people per tour, 1 person at any 1 time in each zipline. 1km hiking/climbing route plus 410 meters of ziplines. Zipline # 1 - 50mts, Zipline #2 - 60mts, Zipline #3 - 300mts with an average speed of 35kph.
