Meet your guide at your Ayia Napa or Protaras hotel, and then set off to begin your day trip aboard a climate-controlled coach.
Stop first at Kourion, a restored Greco-Roman amphitheater, before continuing to the nearby ancient Villa of Eustolios. Then, visit Kolossi Castle and hear about the 15th-century stronghold’s sugarcane-making facilities that were used to make Commandaria, a local sweet wine dubbed the ‘king of wines’ by Richard the Lionheart.
Next, refuel with loukoumades in Monagri village and then journey to Omodos, situated below the Troodos Mountains in the heart of Cyprus’ wine country. Here, you’ll enjoy time at your leisure to sightsee and eat lunch (own expense).
Join back up with your guide and drive on to a winery in Agios Mamas for a wine tasting, then visit the Chapel of Virgin Mary Hrysogalousas, an 18th-century, monolithic chapel in the village of Apsiou.
Your tour then concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel.
