Tigre Delta Tour: (Morning)
You'll be collected from your Buenos Aires hotel by a coach that will whisk you from the center of the city out to San Isidro, with views of the beautiful Rio de la Plata along the way. Upon arrival in the prosperous town, your guide will give you a short tour including the San Isidro cathedral and the weekend homes of many of Buenos Aires' elite families.
Board a catamaran at Tigre and cruise through the Tigre River Delta for 40 minutes to see how life works here. Pass homes on stilts and get a chance to buy something from the supermarket boat. Your last stop is at the home and museum of former president Sarmiento, before you return to your coach and to Buenos Aires proper.
Buenos Aires Sightseeing Tour: (Afternoon)
Start in Retiro, one of the city's most popular neighborhoods. Pass by many of Buenos Aires' famous landmarks, with historical and cultural commentary from your guide. Stop at Casa Rosada, the Argentine presidential office in Plaza de Mayo, which makes a great photo opportunity with its rosy pink color. Visit the the Plaza de la República and the Obelisco de Buenos Aires (Obelisk of Buenos Aires.) On the way to Teatro Colón, the city's famous opera house, see the Metropolitan Cathedral and the town hall, or Cabildo.
Head to San Telmo, passing through Puerto Madero, one of Buenos Aires' oldest neighborhoods right on the water. Colonial architecture abounds in San Telmo, especially around Dorrego Square, which is a hot spot for amateur tango performances.
La Boca, a historically Italian neighborhood, features brightly-painted buildings with Italian architectural influence on its main thoroughfare. Disembark and check out some local art for sale on the pedestrian streets. After hopping back on the coach, pass through the sprawling Palermo neighborhood and Palermo Woods, the city's largest green space. End your tour in Recoleta, location of the fascinating Recoleta Cemetery. The next two hours are yours to rest or explore the city before the evening's tango show.
Tango Show with Dinner: (Evening)
Enjoy Argentina's historic national pastime while you dine on delicious Argentinian and international cuisine. Accompanied by unlimited wine, this dinner and professional tango show can experienced at one of two tango clubs.
Tango Option 1: Café de los Angelitos
The tango show will teach diners the history and passion of the tango while enjoying exceptional food and wine. Café de los Angelitos has over a century of experience bringing tango to the public and their experience and polish is evident.
Tango Option 2: Tango Porteño
This tango show features music from some of the great orchestras of the time like Piassolla and Pugliesse, accompanied by enticing food and drink. Reminiscent of Argentine tango's golden era, this themed club recreates the elegance and passion of Buenos Aires in the 1940s.

Enjoyed the Tigre Delta River Cruise tremendously and the city tour was great. The tango show was wonderful and the food and wine was great! Although the theater is beautiful the setting on previous shows in a boliche was more appealing to me.

Avoid Viator if you are cruising. What a mess. Before leaving USA spent days calling intl # provided to Grey Line Argentina for pick up arrangements- got hung up on etc. In Uruguay night before due to arrive we knew ship would be very very late. Emailed address provided. Ship arrived hours late - we alerted company via ship's phone. Too bad - out first two tours $$ non-refundable. Assured we would still get evening Tango tour. With many other guests at designated terminal spot for bus pick up. We went 1/2 hour early because we were given two different times for pick up with each phone call. Cruise connection, Ship Mate, and other vendor guests picked up by bus - but NO one for Viator/Grey Line Argentina (the VIATOR vendor). I begged the bus driver to let us go with them to Cafe Los Angelitos - he calls Grey Line - supposedly will send a car. I beg him not to leave us. He photos my eticket voucher, sends it to someone, finally after 10 minutes (annoying of course all the others on the bus) kind Gustavos lets us on bus. At the tango site, we get separated from all the other non Viator/Grey line Argentina ticket holders and put in lousy table. Eventually Cafe managers feel sorry for us and do something nice. AVOID VIATOR. It's a mess. Viator takes NO responsibility for third party vendors and we had bad luck with the vendor themselves. Too much drama and anxiety - although the Tango at Cafe Los Angelitos was magnificent.

3 parts to this tour.

The morning - Tigre delta river cruise - a total YUCK! Spent a lot of time waiting around to be told river level was too low but they will put us on another boat with an equal experience. Turns out, it was overcrowded - no place for everyone to sit even. We had to sit under hot sun for the whole trip - staring at the crowd standing in front of us. No guide talking so no idea what we were seeing. Guide was apologetic saying it was not her fault but I reminded her she worked for that company. What a waste of a valuable day!

Afternoon - city cruise. Good tour but poor planning. The morning finished by dropping off everyone who only did the morning taking 1 hour. Then another hour picking up those for the afternoon. Not given any option to stop for lunch. Managed to grab a pastry at the first 15 min stop. The rest of city tour was decent - route was cut short because of bad traffic. La Boca was truly amazing - but we were only given 20 mins there. We plan to spend a whole day there again. We took a cab home as we headed north because it was already 6 and needed to be ready for night pick up.

Night - The tango show was wonderful and we enjoyed dinner. We were tired after spending so much time in the sun and so much time dropping and picking people up. At least there was a decent ending to the otherwise awful day.

When you have little time to explore the city, this tour covers pretty much everything. The city sightseeing covered so much of the city we would not have seen, especially La Boca and Caminito Street. The dinner and tango show at Cafe de los Angelitos was excellent, a lovely meal and evening to finish our day. The Tigre Delta was just a relaxing tour but certainly not a very scenic cruise. I could have done without it. But it rounded out our entire day.

The tour was wonderful and everything went as advertised. We learned so much about the city's history and racist culture in the way that they murdered the black slaves and indigenous people in order to sanitize the country. The Flamingo dinner was wonderful and high energy. The Tigre Delta River Cruise was so relaxing and beautiful.

The city sightseeing tour, if you passed something to bad you didn't hear about it. They only told you when you asked what is that bldg, the only stop was a trinket shop also a potty break, or tea. The Tigre Delta River Cruise, don't go, waste of time, not what it was written up as. Tango show was good, needed more tango, but he food was good.

This was a crazy day. Individually, each of the tours was fine, BUT too much to do in one day. We had no time for lunch, and it would have been better to separate this into two days. One for the city sightseeing tour and really the hop on hop off bus would have been better and then a second day for the Tigre Delta River Cruise and tango show. Or put the tango show with the city tour. The day was just too packed, and seemed way to rushed. Also, we spent a lot of time on the bus, and not enough time at the various venues. I probably should have paid more attention to the description and signed up for a walking tour of the city and a tango show, and then the river cruise separately.

1. Tigre Delta River Cruise was nice but there is nothing special. I would recommend it to people who saw everything in BA and not as a priority. You can take a train and the cruise itself just 7 if purchased in Tigre. So while it was nice, was not too much value for me. Guide was good.
2. City tour was terrible. The whole tour is from inside the bus. Two stops in 3 hrs 15-20 min each. Instead of guided walk during the stop - just walk where you want but be on the bus in 20 min? Very basic information was shared during the tour.
3. Tango part was very good, however food was not as expected. Show was at El Querandi.

Overall, If doing it again, I would skip the cruise, get a different city tour and see tango without after dinner
