Fogón Asado: Live cooking and meat tasting menu!

Enjoyed the experience thoroughly, except the name “live cooking” can sound scary for some people. Be sure to purchase the wine pairing to get the full experience. The staff had been professional and the food was delicious.

Viator transposed the address so we were a few minutes late, last to arrive. While view in front of grill would be great, my top was smoky smelling enough from looking at the grill. Everything was wonderful - atmosphere, the friendliest staff that was willing to accommodate anything - from making a non-alcoholic version of their welcome cocktail for my teen (actually was pretty close in taste!), to offering accommodations for food sensitivities and preferences, the food was really, really good, and A LOT of it. Lovely place and a fun dinner experience!

This was such an amazing experience, I am so happy that I decided to go for this. This experience exceeded my expectations as a whole, from how they introduced themselves and seated us to the layout/design of the restaurant, how they served us each of the food and wine pairings, to how they closed out the evening. Even though I was joining solo, I was in-between two two groups on either side and had plenty of conversation to fill the evening. I did not love every dish, but that's a matter of personal taste and not a reflection on how well things were cooked. Also, there were a group of doctors on one side, they said that the food was better than Don Julio's steak in their opinion, which says something! I will recommend this to others who are visiting Buenos Aires for sure.

We had an amazing dinner at Fogon Asado. The wait and cooking staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. The food and wine pairing was superb. The cooks clearly have respect for their produce and explained the ingredients of everything to us. The beef main cooked on the charcoal grill was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Excellent, worth every penny spent.
