Andrei was a great guide, quite informative and added to the Jewish history also about Bucharest itself. Highly recommend, but would ask for a hotel drop off to be added.
I found the tour so valuable and felt the passion and energy from my tour guide Andrei. I highly recommend for anyone interested in Jewish history in Romania.
At best, it was a mediocre tour, delivered in a monotone. I did not find out until after I left Bucharest that Alex had not taken me to the Holocaust Memorial which made me angry. May be it could not be included in the tour but Alex should have mentioned it to me so I could go on my own. I am still very upset.
Our guide Andrei was interesting and engaging and truly seemed interested in the information that he was presenting.
His education is in architecture which also gave us architectural highlights of the city as well as of the Jewish architecture.
We went to seven countries while in Europe this trip and I can say that this was the finest tour of all that we had taken while we were in Europe.
Paul was fantastic. Our tour was only two people not including the guide so we were able to get the most out of the tour. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. It's a great way to get to know Bucharest.
The tour was a great way to find out more about the Jewish history of Bucharest. The guide was well informed and payed attention to many details. He also gave a lot of background information and recommendations for the rest of the stay in Bucharest. Highly recommended!
It was exciting to discover the central part of the city. We were only 5 people on the tour and could easily interact with the guide - who was excellent. Well-paced and beautiful tour.
I choose this activity due to the fact I didn't have a lot of time in Bucharest and walking tours always make it easy to learn the city.. I arrived at the meeting point and Paul was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I happened to be the only one on the tour so that made it even better for me. Personalized attention! We toured around visiting different sites for about 3 hours. I think that the tour is great and enough time to really see the different sites that Bucharest has to offer.
Great walking tour wghich
gave us a good feel for the City. Paul our guide was very knowlegable
We were able to get a better understanding iof Jewish life in Bucharest. Our guide Paul was very knowledgable.
Anita was so knowledgeable and charming. She shared her knowledge about the history of the area. We enjoyed our days in Bucharest and this tour enriched our experience. She also helped us get a taxi for the rest of our day.
Anita did an excellent for the group tour of Jewish Bucharest. Prompt and professional, she enriched our Jewish heritage tour immensely.
Our guide was friendly and knew a lot about the history of Bucharest.
We enjoyed the sights, particularly the opera house, as there was a concert rehearsal taking place and for 2 Lei we were allowed in to listen!
The old town is very interesting and we also picked our guide's knowledge of local restaurants for lunches and dinners.
This tour was very informative and got to see interesting places and the history behind them. Took you to places we would never have thought to go.
The tour was well planned and gave a balance of historical knowledge and simply enjoying the beauty of this beautiful country. The guide took care to meet my individual requests and needs. Lodging was better than I expected
