Overview

Go off-roading in the Canary Islands on an exciting buggy trip through a landscape of volcanos, valleys, and sea cliffs, then open up the throttle to roar down white sand beaches. You’ll see coastal villages, the El Toston lighthouse, and traditional Canary Island architecture along the way, with time to stop for lunch at a harbor-side restaurant. This four-wheeling experience includes pickup and drop-off at select Fuerteventura hotels, with the self-drive options that range from one to six people, lasting between two and four hours.
  • Drive a dune buggy along the coast
  • See an untouched, wild side of the island
  • Pickup and drop-off at selected Fuerteventura hotels
  • Self-drive tour for one to six people
Meet a driver at your hotel in the northern part of Fuerteventura, or make your way to a departure point in Corralejo. There is a wide range of experiences to choose from, whether you prefer a morning or afternoon experience, or an early evening tour that takes in a Canary Islands sunset.
Get behind the wheel of a buggy, then drive down a sheltered path into volcano country, where you’ll find some great hill climbs. Pause at the Corralejo volcano to look for the unique Barbary ground squirrels, and continue towards the sand dunes, part of the island’s UNESCO reserve.
Ride through the surfing village of Lajares, then pause for lunch in the Cotillo fishing village, where you can sample local cuisine at a restaurant at the edge of the water. Following your meal, keep driving along the coast of El Cotillo to discover blue lagoons, a lighthouse, and black volcanic rock formations that offer a dramatic contrast to the pale sandy beach.
The final portion of the tour continues through sandy lanes to the fishing settlement of Majanicho, then you’ll meet a driver for the return trip to Coralejo or Fuerteventura.
