A fun-packed day out for a private group of up to nine people, the full-day tour includes visits to Inch Beach and Dingle, plus scenic drives along Slea Head Drive and past the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range. Lunch and drinks are at your own expense.
  • Full-day Dingle Peninsula tour with a private guide
  • Dip your toes in the water at Inch Beach
  • Visit Dingle and look out for Fungie the bottlenose dolphin
  • Travel along the coast road of Slea Head Drive
  • See the cliff steps that featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • Have your camera ready for sights of the Three Sisters
After a hotel pickup from Killarney at 9:30am, you’ll travel to the Dingle Peninsula with your private guide. The shoreline here is spectacular, with towering cliffs and sandy bays flanked by the sea on one side and mountains on the other. Admire the Slieve Mish mountains, and gaze at the summit of Mt. Brandon, one of the country’s highest peaks.
Pass the mountain range of Macgillycuddy’s Reeks, and stop for a paddle at Inch Beach where films such as Ryan’s Daughter were filmed. The long sweep of sand is designated as a Blue Flag beach, meaning it’s free from pollution.
Travel through County Kerry’s Irish-speaking heartland to the lively seaside town of Dingle. As you stroll through town, you'll hear tales of Fungie, the beloved Dingle dolphin, who seems to have made the bay his home. Return to your vehicle, then travel along Slea Head Drive.
Elevated high above the sea, the drive takes in sweeping vistas over the steep and rocky Skellig islands. Learn how the islets were once home to a community of monks, and see the cliff-side steps that were filmed in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Look out toward Dead Man’s Island and the Blasket Islands, and spot a filming site from the Tom Cruise movie Far and Away.
After a visit to the fertility stone and photos against a backdrop of the Three Sisters and Mt. Brandon, you’ll return to Dingle for food. Refuel with lunch and possibly a few drinks, then journey back to your Killarney hotel.
