  • 6.5-hour tour from Killarney to the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head
  • Tour the beautiful Irish countryside
  • See great views of the rugged Atlantic coastline
  • Stand at Slea Head, the westernmost point in Europe
Meet your coach for mid-morning pickup in central Killarney. Once aboard, sit back and relax as you journey west along Ireland’s rocky Atlantic coast to Dingle Peninsula. Marvel at the majestic landscape dotted with scenes of Irish life, and stop to explore wind-swept beaches, formidable cliffs and unique flora and fauna. Your coach will pass Inch Beach, a favorite location for peace-seeking kite flyers and surfers.
Head into the lovely town of Dingle, where you’ll break to have lunch (own expense), explore the town’s vibrant and colorful streets, and perhaps spot Fungie, Dingle’s famed local dolphin. Sweets enthusiasts won’t want to miss a stop at Murphy’s for some signature local ice cream!
Afterwards, continue on to Slea Head, the most westerly point in Europe. Along the way, glimpse beehive-shaped huts and life in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) communities that line the route. At Slea Head, imagine the excitement that westward emigrants experienced in passing this point, and enjoy wonderful views of the Blasket Islands, a desolate area that was once inhabited by thriving Irish-speaking islanders.
On the return trip to Killarney, your coach will stop at Gallarus Oratory, one of the region’s mysterious archeological gems. Walk through the site that is consider the best-preserved early Christian church in Ireland, and enjoy stunning views of Smerwick Harbor and Mount Brandon.
Your tour returns to the departure point in Killarney by early evening.

We had another great tour with Deros Tours! The sites were so extraordinary and we had another wonderful guide. The guides with Deros are truly great and so knowledgeable. Although it was really rainy and foggy, it was still gorgeous and we got to see beautiful views. Would definitely recommend! Also, you do stop in Dingle for about 1.5 hours for lunch. We packed lunch, so didn't have too much to do since it was raining then run in between shops. I would advise not to pack a lunch and enjoy a nice Irish lunch out in Dingle!

Ray was a terrific guide. He was patient, knowledgeable, and fun. The scenery was spectacular.

I loved this tour. I planned a two week trip to Ireland for my parents and me, and we truly enjoyed this excursion. The history and the stories - and the Irish pub music - were great. As with everything in this country, the people make it wonderful. The tour guides are great, but the Irish are so wonderful in general. They make it very easy to be a traveler gathering stories rather than a tourist.

Our tour operator made this tour. Very knowledgeable and entertaining.

took this trip on 9/3- cloudy overcast weather but the trip was well worth. Morris was the best -great stories and details on the places we visited. Highly recommend this trip!

Our driver made this trip worthwhile. We had gone on the Connemara trip the day before and the driver was so lousy that we were very apprehensive about this trip. But this driver was so so different, and made the trip so enjoyable that we returned feeling that we had learnt so much of the history of the country, while seeing so many places of interest, and had a lot of fun at the same time. The only grouse is the money making practise of the tour company that charges a hefty extra fee for getting seats in front. We have experienced other tour companies and have not faced this.

Another great tour and we were so happy that we arrived at the Peninsula before the weather fogged it in. Wonderful trip would definitely say it was one of our hightlights in Ireland.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Dingle Peninsula. The commentary we received form the bus driver was great. We had ample time to enjoy the sites at each of our stops. Even got to stick my feet in the water at Inch Beach. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great day and a great driver for this tour of the Dingle Peninsula. Tony was funny, knowledgeable, and an amazingly good sport when he found his knowledge put to the test by a precocious adolescent who grilled him on a wide range of topics that often had nothing to do with the Dingle Peninsula. Having survived his inquisitorial interview, Tony kept up a running narrative about the places were were stopping and the places through which we passed. He told stories about the land and the landscape, the islands and the sea and everything, he promised, everything he said was true.

We toured the peninsula during the week before Easter, so there were not too many cars on the road and we did not run into any serious obstacles except for a couple of tourists who'd chosen the wrong time to travel on a certain coast road and had to turn around in the face of Tony's bus coming at them on a narrow road. The weather ranged from sun and clouds to a light drizzle on the final leg back to Killarney -- but that was fine because at that point most people on the bus were dozing, contented that Tony was at the wheel and they were not.

Could we have had a better time of it? I'm not sure how.
