Want to see the best bits of Bali in just one day? This private full-day tour includes a visit to Batuan temple, the UNESCO-listed Tegalalang rice terraces and the Ubud Art Villages. That’s not all: you’ll also get chance to learn about Luwak coffee and other Balinese coffee and tea, jump into the Tegenungan waterfall and shop for hand-made Balinese arts and crafts. All that, plus hotel pick-up and private transportation!
  • Full-day private ‘Best of Bali’ tour from Ubud
  • Visit Batuan temple and the Tegalalang rice terraces
  • Cool off with a swim at Tegenungan waterfall
  • Tour a coffee plantation
  • Discover Balinese art and handicrafts in the Ubud Art Villages
  • Great value tour includes hotel pick-up and round-trip transport
Begin your tour with pickup at your Bali accommodation and travel to Batuan Temple. Marvel at the beautiful Hindu temple as you learn its spiritual significance and discover its magnificent architecture and black palm roof.

Next, visit Tegenungan Waterfall, where you can cool off with a swim beneath the falls or even brave a jump from the top of the 49-foot (15-meter) high falls.

Continue north to Tegalalang to marvel at the UNESCO-listed rice terraces, one of Bali’s most photographed sights. Learn about the pioneering ‘subak’ system – the Balinese cooperative irrigation system – for which the terraces are known, as you admire the views over the rice paddies.

After lunch (own expense), discover Indonesia’s world-famous Luwak coffee at a local coffee plantation. Learn about the unusual method of producing the coffee, which involves the coffee berries being eaten and defecated by Asian palm civets, then collecting the part-digested beans from the forest floor. After sampling the other coffees and teas made at the plantation, perhaps opt to taste a Luwak coffee too (extra cost).

Then, indulge your creative side with a visit to the Ubud Art Villages and discover the vibrant traditions of Balinese arts and handicrafts. Visit the woodcarving village of Mas, admire the fine Silver Filigree jewelry made in Celuk and watch a Batik painting demonstration in Tohpati Village.

Finally, after an action-packed full-day itinerary, finish your tour with drop-off at your hotel.

Great Tour. Our Tour guide was very polite, extremely helpful und knowledgable, in particular when we saw the Batuan Temple. The Tenenguan Waterfalls were impressive, however, swimming or or Jumping from the top was not possible, even though it is listed in the Tour description. I really enjoyed the Luwak Coffee and the Rice Terrace, where we had lunch. In total, the tour came to 6.5 hours, and not 10 hours as described.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Ponk was amazing. His English was great, his personality was great and he was so knowledgeable that we learnt so much in one day. We were picked up from our Hotel in Kuta then taken to our first stop, the Luwak Coffee Plantation. We then visited the silver factory and an Art place then onto a Temple. We stopped at an amazing waterfall where we had lunch then finally we went to the Rice Terraces. We did so much but didnt feel rushed in anyway so we didnt get tired out. I would definately recommend this Tour to everyone. Cherinne and Kerry

Don't waste your money. This is not the best of Bali, this is a day of shopping in Bali. I taken to 5 different places simply for buying stuff. The only 2 real sights you will see are the waterfall and rice fields, in both places the driver pressured me to hurry and not spend much time. By the end of the day after I had refused to buy anything I was treated fairly poor by the tour guide. Not a good way to spend your money or your time!

Very good tour covering some of the best bits of Ubud and the surrounding areas. Private tour in comfortable air conditioned car and the driver was polite, courteous and very helpful filling in the gaps. His English was good and certainly better than my Balinese! Good value would recommend.

This tour was awesome and our driver Oka was awesome too. He took us to all the places we wanted to go and gave us lots of time to explore. He even spent extra time with us to take us to local spots to eat. We would highly recommend this tour and asking for Oka as your tour driver.

What a great day. Our Tour guide, Putra was so polite and helpful he even helped with our baby. The waterfall was amazing but can be dangerous, we witnessed a near drowning by people who could not swim. Wood carving and jewellery making really stood out and showcased their skill. Worth doing and good value for money.
