Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience with UI Maldives. First, the meeting time was 8:30 and check in staff didn’t arrive until 9:00 which was the start of the tour. I spent time looking around the jetty, asking people and thought the tour was cancelled as no one was at there at the stated reporting time, and well after. Second, the boat arrived at 9:30 and the tour was supposed to start at 9:00. Delays are expected and okay, but there was no communication around this. We checked in and were just waiting for further instructions. Third, the tour leader wasn’t the best unfortunately. I asked if a guide could stay close to me as I’m not great at swimming in currents to which he said to get in and practice and if needed a guide will help! Especially as on another tour the leader assigned guides to poor ocean swimmers. The life jacket was entirely ripped on one side and they didn’t have another one my size. I tried contacting them multiple times via Viatour ahead of the tour and received no response. I’m sure there might be positive experiences for others, but I didn’t have the best experience on tour or in dealing with the company prior to the tour, so I wouldn’t recommend this company/ experience.

Let’s see: one hour late. Then the so called boat comes: old, noisy, you’re packed to one another, couldn’t stand the waves. NOT a tour boat for tourists at all. The sandbank is ok for a few photos, lunch just ok. The snorkelling? OMG the unsafest thing ever. Boat was not anchored and you go swim near the “border” of a resort. What is wrong with this tour company!!! Please read this and don’t go!!!!

Wonderful day with UI

We had a wonderful full day with UI. The boat sailed along beautiful islands and we saw many dolphins from the boat. We waded to a sandbank and we snorkeled at a great spot with rays, sharks and lots of beautiful tropical fishes. The boat was fine and well equipped for snorkeling and the Indian lunch was excellent. The crew was very friendly, professional, helpful, and caring to make it a memorable excursion. I would definitely recommend this day trip to everyone.

Disappointing Experience - No Refund After 4 Months

We arrived at the port 30 minutes before the scheduled departure, as instructed by the organizer. Unfortunately, the organizer told us that the trip was canceled due to stormy weather, which we completely understood given the conditions. However, what followed was extremely disappointing. Despite reaching out to both Viator and the local organizer multiple times, we have yet to receive a refund—four months later! This is not the level of professionalism we expected, and it's very frustrating to deal with such poor communication and lack of resolution. No traveler should have to chase down a refund for a service that was never provided. I highly recommend reconsidering booking with this company unless you're prepared to deal with a lot of hassle if things go wrong.

Yesterday was the highlight of my trip

A Fantastic day was spent with a beautiful group of individuals. Alongside my sisters, I had a great time! The staff members, particularly our tour guide, were excellent. This was the best part of our trip to the Maldives so far—everything was fantastic. The entire crew went above and above to make the group feel safe and at ease, and they were all incredibly kind and friendly. They also performed a fantastic job of taking incredible pictures and videos of my sisters and me, and we will always treasure these shared memories. All in all, my trip yesterday was the best day of my vacation, and I just wanted to say thank you to every one of you for all of your hard work and devotion ❫️❤️ wonderful people and great service. I would highly recommend it to everyone. 10/10

Overpriced, misrepresented, uncaring tour manager

Best was swimming in the Arabian Sea. Promised visit to a sandbar, dropped 100s of yards away, swam towards it but none there. Promised a drop-off on an island for lunch but herded into souvenir shops first that were very far away and was difficult to walk to. I thought we were going to the lunch restaurant, but had to backtrack to it. Minimal seating inside on very small cramped boat.

Best snorkeling of my life

Do yourself a favor and book this tour immediately! Great experience start to finish and like the title says, best snorkeling of my life. The snorkeling equipment was a little battered but with life jackets and lots of attentive guides in the water with the group, it was easy to see a ton of marine life even with a sub-par snorkel. We went to two different snorkeling spots, each teeming with fish and rays. The other stops were also fun (sandbar, lunch) but the time in the water was the absolute highlight. An easy and cheap way to experience so much natural beauty.

Wonderful snorkelling, sandbank and dolphin watching tour in one!

Great adventure with twice chance to snorkel seeing big fishes and big corals on different spots. We were also lucky to spot dolphins easily, took great photos at the sandbank and had a nice buffet lunch with our tour mates and tour guides. The crew took good care of us and also helped taking good pics. Thanks a lot to the team!
