We were supposed to be fetched from...

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi with Transfers from Dubai | Jan 2018

We were supposed to be fetched from the hotel at 9.30am accordingly to our confirmation letter. The tour company arrived at 9am. We were given 4 hours in Ferreira World which was not enough to cover half of the things. The reason was that traffic would be too heavy going back to Dubai from Abu Dhabi. Once we were in Dubai, we asked if we wanted to visit the carpet store to buy carpets and they would wait for us. If there was enough time to visit a carpet store then I would have rather had spent more time in Ferreira. This was not worth the money I paid.

Dubai Desert Safari: Land Cruiser, Camel Ride, Dune Bashing | Mar 2016

Unfortunatley this tour didn't go well. We were asked to be ready to be collected at 14.30. At 15.30 asked the hotel to ring and find out what had happened. The guide said he would be 5 minutes. He showed up at 15.50. The guide spoke breifly to say ATV and alcohol are not included then spend the rest of the journey talking on his mobile whilst driving. This isn't illegal in Dubai but it's very rude. There were 3 other tourists with us.
The guide took us to the ATV and instructed us to get on. So we did. After getting used to it and only around 5 minutes into the session we were instructed to return. We thought this was a practice. So we waited whist our guide drove his much bigger, more powerful ATV round with the 3 other guests for 20 minutes.
He then took us to pay. We explained that we had only been on for 5 minutes but he didn't listen and said you have been on them so you have to pay. The 3 other tourists claim they didn't want to go on them. He told them the same. This left us all feeling ripped off. The cost is around 50 extra. What has happened is that we would of got a full 20 minutes had we paid in advance. Our guide should of taken us all there first and explained it to both us and the other tourists. Then there would be no confusion.
Next was on to the Dunes. We really enjoyed this part. Going over the steep dunes and he asked some other guides to follow which was funny as they just couldn't keep up! The guide knew what he was doing and we had a great time here.
Then was the belly dancing and dinner. Very loud, distorted music played while the dancers were on. Then we sampled some Arabian food which I thought was ok but my wife didn't. The BBQ was offered in a very rushed manor. Long queues were formed then the buffet was rushed. The food was cold but as the lighting was so dim you couldn't see what it was so my wife wouldn't eat it.
After dinner we were asked to be promt at 20.00. Our guide returned at 20.20. :-
Our guide spoilt this trip for us. :-
