Your festive experience begins at St. Patrick's Cathedral, a Gothic-style gem that holds the record for one of the largest Catholic cathedrals in the United States. Here, you’ll greet your guide before heading inside to admire celebratory decorations and hear of American holiday traditions.

Then, stroll to the colossal Rockefeller Center and pose for photographs in front of its famous Christmas tree. Proceed to Radio City Music Hall, one of New York’s premier musical venues, before you head to the Bryant Park holiday market, located in Downtown.

Browse stalls selling festive foods and artisan Christmas gifts, then marvel at the dramatic window displays on Fifth Avenue, replete with sophisticated boutiques. Your tour concludes outside of one of the world’s most famous department stores, where you’ll hear of the franchise’s history before bidding your guide farewell.

Delightful.

Our tour guide was wonderful and had plenty of isight into the history and goings-on of the area. She provided lots of information, tips, and photo suggestions. This was a great way to see the area, take in the good sights, and not feel overwhelmed trying to see it all. A wonderful tour and great guide.

We had a large group -- 10 -- ranging in age from 6-81. We were prepared for a lot of walking and for the cold. The tour was good but not great. It did not exactly match the description and was more of a history tour of New York than a focus on the holiday stuff (I did not particularly care to go down diamond alley and hear about Adam Sandler's new movie.). The main thing I wanted to see with the kids was the Saks display and we did not stop there. Granted, the city was mobbed and that is not the tour's fault. I also thought that the tour ended where we started and it ended at Macy's. I should have asked so be aware that you have to figure out the parking situation.

This excursion was boring and not at all like it was portrayed. Definitely not worth the money. We were very disappointed.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. But, it wasn't really a Christmas tour. It was more like a NYC history tour. We were disappointed because we were expecting more of a Christmas-y tour.

Enjoyable brisk winter evening walk. Even though it was cold (and a times a bit crowded) we really liked the information, both regional and historical, about the buildings, architecture, and cultures from Rockefeller Center to the Empire State Building. Hannah has got to be the best guide! Can't recommend this walking tour or our guide enough!! Be sure to wear clothing appropriate to the weather! It will make your evening much more enjoyable.

We had the guide, Nicole, to ourselves. Everyone else scheduled had cancelled because it was so cold. She was great with the locations we visited including a wealth of information about the locations and areas that we visited. It was extremely crowded in the city and she did a great job keeping out of the worst of the crowds. The tour was exactly as described.

Sean was our guide, really nice bloke, very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He took us round all the nice places and it was a really fun experience. I would like to make a suggestion - rather than start with the Rockefeller Centre - I would end with it. The tour was nice, but nothing could surpass them afterwards. If you started at Macy's and worked your way towards them, I think it would work out much better. But its a minor thing - really nice experience.

This was not quite what I expected it was very interesting but more of a history lesson than a Christmas tour

Our tour guide was Nicole, she was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about where we were going and little things you wouldn't even think to ask. she was very nice and helped me and my mother he was in a motorized scooter navigate the tour by always finding a ramp or handicapped entrance for her to follow so we never missed a beat. I would recommend this tour to any of my friends who come to New York and tell them to ask for Nicole.
