No city is the setting for superhero stories more often than New York, and with this walking tour, you can explore its most famous superhero movie and comic book sites and visit the locations where artists and writers developed some of your favorite characters. Whether you’re into Batman or Superman, Daredevil or Iron Man, you can heed the call for justice during this deep dive into the superhero universe.
  • Explore the comic book and superhero history of New York City
  • Discover famous hangouts of Superman, the Green Goblin, and Tony Stark
  • Learn about the history of NYC's comic industry along Publishers' Row
  • See filming locations for TV shows like 'Gotham' and Netflix's 'Daredevil'
Meet up with your guide at the United Nations in the afternoon, beginning the two-hour tour with a stroll down 42nd Street. Check out the apartment of the Green Goblin, and take a trip past the Daily News Building, used as a filming location in the original ‘Superman’ film starring Christopher Reeve.

You’ll then get a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at a bar known as a famous hangout for New York’s comic artists. Also along 42nd Street are the Chrysler Building and Grand Central Terminal (with ‘Stark Tower’ looming nearby).

Continue along Park Avenue, stopping to explore the historic heart of ‘Publishers’ Row,’ birthplace of some of the world’s most famous comics. You’ll see the location of the offices of Will Eisner and Bob Kane, and then see filming locations used in TV shows like ‘Gotham’ and ‘Daredevil.’

Throughout the trip, you’ll hear plenty of fascinating stories and insights into comic book history from your guide, including details about how Kryptonite was created, where Batman was saved from cancellation, and the location of keepsake left behind for NYC by The Avengers.

The tour was fine, quite a large group and perhaps not as many sights as we thought / hoped might be included. The guide RJ was fine, some good stories.
Fantastically fun!

What a great way to see NYC through the eyes of our enthusiastic teen. Our guide Patrick knows his stuff inside out, answered all questions expertly and was so much fun to just hang with. I love to get the stories behind the stories and that was a great family friendly way to do it. I highly recommend.

Hannah was very fun and energetic! She was well prepared with a notebook full of images to parallel the places that she was showing us. She answered all questions that my son had, with enthusiasm and an obvious knowledge and love for the topic. Thank you Hannah for giving us a very memorable tour.

This was a really fun tour for superhero location sightings as well as little known facts about the history of the comics. Hannah was a great guide and really knew her stuff! We had a great time and will definitely recommend to our friends who love comics!
