Make your own way to the starting point in central Prague and set off with your guide on your 3-hour walking tour.
Stroll across the beautiful Vltava River and admire the panoramic views of the UNESCO-listed Prague Castle complex from the riversides. Learn how this architectural tour-de-force is the world’s largest self-contained castle complex, and was once the power base of Bohemia’s kings, Holy Roman Emperors and Czechoslovakia’s presidents.
Climb the hillside as your guide describes the events and people that shaped Prague’s fortunes through the ages, and how the castle dates back to the 9th century.
Delve into Malá Strana, the Baroque district spread beneath the walls. Pose for photos outside the 18th-century St Nicholas Church and World War II memorial, and then catch a tram to the castle.
Enter the complex through the North Gate and admire the Royal Gardens and Powder Bridge on route to Hradčany Square. Here, take in the handsome Schwarzenberg Palace and statue of  Czechoslovakia’s first president, Tomas Masaryks.
Continue through the Neo-Classical Second Courtyard into the Third Courtyard, the latter dominated by St Vitus Cathedral, one of Europe’s largest churches.
Follow your guide inside to gaze at the magnificent interior, and then pass the Golden Gate, Vladislav Hall and St George’s Basilica on your way to Golden Lane. This picturebook cobblestoned alley is lined with colorful cottages that once housed servants, fusiliers and goldsmiths, and was also home to the great Czech-Jewish writer Franz Kafka between 1916 and 1917.
Delve into the dwellings, some converted into fascinating museums and others into arty souvenir and craft shops.
Finally, leave the castle and stop on the hillside to snap photos of Prague spread below. Your tour then finishes here or at the Charles Bridge.

This is the second time we have done this walking tour - last time was in Summer 2017 and was quite different to this time. Our guide on 10th December was Ryan Hume who was great! - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. Would recommend this tour without a doubt. Thank you.

Our guide, Katerina was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She had a lot of stories about the Croatia and interesting history events. She was able to get us to the best view points to see all the events. Eg changing of the guards

Our tour guide Brandon was wonderful. He shared the history of the castle and surrounding area. I highly recommend this tour and thought it was truly worth the time and money. It was a great cost!

Really enjoyed the tour with Ian

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide was a local, and she was so passionate about sharing her knowledge of the castle. I would highly recommend this tour, you learn so much more going with a guide than exploring on your own.

There were so many people that I had a hard time hearing the information. I also felt the tour was a bit rushed because of the Castle's closing hours.

I went to this tour starting off at the Rudolfinum and right off the bat I thought that it was disorganized people was running around and changing tour languages left and right including myself. Our tour guide was Klara a young woman that spoke so rapidly that I couldn't keep up with her and she was talking in my native language. After a few blocks everybody was making comments about how fast she was going. Finally we stopped at the beginning of Charles Bridge and she said the bridge is packed I' m putting up my umbrella and we all starting walking and suddenly she disappeared I told my wife stay here and I rushed looking for her to no avail walked the bridge up and down with no luck whatsoever. Ladies and gents this took place in a heart beat. I neve saw her again, We still don't believed what had happened. So we lost that tour
