Alongside your guide, you’ll explore 20 acres of lush tropical gardens, home to 3,000 different plant species. Then, head to Rancho Los Veranos for a Mexican lunch accompanied by samples of tequila, the country’s national beverage. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
We really enjoyed this trip. It's a nice combination of a road trip, seeing the botanical gardens, tequila tasting and a good lunch. The guide and the driver were both great. We especially enjoyed hearing about the driver's efforts to preserve the macaws in the area. There's about an hour of pick ups prior to the formal start of the tour then they meet at the marina to put people in the formal bus van. I'd advise people to save time, to meet at the their marina pick up which is pretty close to town. In our case. we were t a private house in the hills and the driver could not have been nicer coming to us. I gave this 4 stars and not five because of the one hour plus pick ups in the am. The tour was very good and the driver and guide were both superb! I'd highly recommend this tour.
This tour was awesome!! We got to see a little bit of the city which was unexpected. The Tequila Tasting was incredible!! We bought a bottle of chocolate tequila :- The botanical Gardens are beautiful. Highly encourage this Tour.
Recommend the Botanical gardens. Tour guide, the lunch and tequila tasting were outstanding.would not use Vallarta Tours again. Their logistics for picking everyone up..awful. We passed our hotel 1.5 hours after they picked us up and took us north to join others before heading south to gardens:(
I had a really great time on this tour. The gardens are beautiful and our guide, Gustavo, was super helpful and nice. He did a great job pointing out interesting things and sights throughout the whole trip. He took photos of us. My only recommendation is that a little bit more time be spent at the gardens versus picking people up. The Tequilia Tasting was fabulous - and I'm not a tequila drinker. I strongly recommend this tour.
