Not a lot to do for the price you pay. More shops than things to do. You spend a long time waiting for transportation to pick you back up

There was NO tour guide. We were picked from a meeting point outside our hotel and from the beginning, we had a bad impression with the driver. When we arrived at Manati Park he left us there mentioning the pickup time and that was all. No tour guide included nothing. Only giving 3 stars for what we saw at the park, otherwise, it would be just one.

Overall was good but not happy with it 100. Park itself is beautiful and great place for a half day trip with kids. We had a private tour guide in a park which i was happy about cause we could experience eye to eye interaction with some animals. Bad thing abt was that everything was quick quick, where in a description says that you can take your time- thats not true. Another thing i didnt like that souvenirs are really pricey, i must say even overpriced. Glad i went to San Domingo where u can find lots of descent shops. Another thing i didnt like that when you get to the Indians village in a park people are asking to come to see their house, they are showing you their work which is great but the attitude is you look you MUST buy. I was nice and said thank you many times but we had two situations where we had to really say enough is enough. While visiting one of the houses one gentlemen already been showing us some work and we eventually bought sth small from him, at the same time lady from another house has approached my 5 year old son and started showing him things to make us buy it, I have lost it with her, she wasn't even polite, she has been telling my son tell daddy to pay :. Another situation was when my mum and mother in law took picture with one of the gentlemen dressed as Indian, off-course we did ask if we can.But 30 min later somewhere in a park he has found us and he said to my mum that they need to buy from him cause they took picture with him. I ve lost it again, told him that he should inform us that for any pictures taken we need to pay. I took my phone out, found picture taken in a gallery showed him and deleted. He was well shocked but i was fuming. After that he did apologise but i didn't take it. It was rude, makes u wonder. we pay a lot for going on holiday, all trips are not cheap either and u get this kind attitude. That was a BIG BIG downtime to visit in Dominican rep.

We were scheduled to be picked up at 8:30 and they never showed. There were shows we wanted to see in the morning and if we waited until the next pickup, we would have missed them so never went on this adventure. We were leaving the next day so was the only day we could attend this function.

I enjoyed the park and it was actually better than I expected. I didn't expect to have our own park guide but it was nice and Willie was fun and with his bit of English and our bit of Spanish, we were able to communicate. The dolphin show was a bit shorter than expected but loved the unexpected parrot show. I enjoyed the experience and glad that I went. However due to the lack of communication from our bus driver he was the only person that was not tipped. He didn't even greet us after we greeted him...he looked a bit annoyed by the whole process of picking up from the various resorts and dropping us off. NoBueno

Wow, not what we were expecting. The bus will drop you off and you are trapped there for 4 hours with no way out. You're expected to go to all the animal shows which last about 15 minutes each and are spread out with time in between for wandering around looking at the animal displays. Problem is a Guide will latch onto you and steer you around to places where they very aggressively try to sell you junk. There are some cool displays and a lot to see, but the aggressive vendors really turned us off. They will not go away until you get almost rude with them. Be warned, I read a couple of reviews before we went and wondered how bad can it be. IT'S PRETTY BAD, YOU ARE A TARGET AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN.

The park was a little run down and I was disappointed in the dolphin swim. The people working at the park were wonderful. They took the time to show us everything and to explain about the area and the animals. They moved us along so that we didn't miss anything in the time allowed.
