Your adventure begins with pickup from your Akureyri hotel in time for a 1pm departure. After meeting your guide and small group of up to 8 people, set out on the around 1-hour drive to Lake Myvatn.
After admiring views of the lake, enjoy a tour of the surrounding region, which is full of geological wonders, from rugged lava fields to wild glacial valleys. Along the way, hop out to get a closer look at the Grjotagja Rift, admire the otherworldly landscapes of the Skutustaðagigar Pseudo Craters, and pose for photos against a backdrop of the Dimmuborgir Lava Formations.
