A few recommendations, get there early to sit in the front and take the morning tour during the winter (because it gets completely dark before you see everything in the afternoon)!

As a huge Sound of Music fan, this tour was everything and more! So many beautiful sights and the behind the scenes information was awesome. I went when it was snowing out, which made the experience that much more magical. If you want to take picture at the Mirabell Palace Gardens (where they filmed do-re-mi), get there early or stay after the tour, as you will not have time during the tour for pictures there. The gardens are right across the street from the pickup/dropoff location. Staff was super friendly and informative.

As there were fewer people on this tour instead of using a large coach we were switched to a minibus. Unfortunately this meant that the promised film clips weren't screened which I felt reduces the enjoyment of the tour

During off season we offer the tour in coaches or minivans.
We are sorry you felt that it was not the same experience.
Both tours have advantages, those done with the minivan are more intimate and feels more like a private tour
Being also more flexible, since we do get somewhat closer to some sights.
Still thank you for your time.. hope to welcome you board gain some day .. maybe during high season

The tour has two photo stops in the city of Salzburg and a 50-minute stop in Mondsee at the wedding church.
Lasting for four hours in total, the majority of your guests do enjoy some free-time during the tour;
… seeing the chapel, shop for souvenirs and taste some apple strudel at one of the coffee places.
With private tours however we are more flexible and could offer photo stops only doing the tour in three hours if preferred
