My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Hop-on-Hop off tour on Monday. Tour guides Tony and Denise were perfectly enjoyable and knowledgeable about Savannah. I would highly recommended this tour to anyone visiting the lovely city of Savannah in the future.
We wanted to spend time in Savannah but had limited time.
I found this tour online and booked it the day of our visit. Great tour and Gordon was really knowledgeable of the city! Great option to see the city but have limited time.
Drivers were great. Very informative and answered questions from "tourist" about the area. Tour covered the complete old town area of Savannah. End of day we asked driver about other areas to visit and given several options. His suggestion for "The Pirates House" was great fpr dinner.
If traveling with large group be prepared to wait.

Positives - trolley was clean and driver was incredibly friendly. Gave a lot of information about the area. It is certainly something you utilize to learn a lot of about the city.
Negatives - we traveled during New Years. The trolley was packed. We could not sit with each other. Many other patrons had to wait for the next trolley because there was no space. Many stops people said they had been waiting for 25 minutes. Truth be told, unless you have young children or a physical issue you are quicker to simply walk.
If you want to see everything in comfort and within a time limit this is the way to go. The trolleys do a great job of weaving in and out of the city and you get to see everything. You can hop on and off with ease and never wait long for the next trolley. We were on two trolleys and the drivers were great and very knowledgeable.
Vee and Sue and all the other drivers of the Old Town Trolley tours were humorous and knowledgeable and had tons of trivia about every stop. They made Savannah feel manageable and less intimidating and yet added to its charm.
