Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable and had fun stories about the
People and history of Savannah. It seemed we covered quite a bit of the area and the pace was good. We really enjoyed and would do another tour.
Despite the fact that I have been using Viator as a reliable intermediary between me and tour operators, and despite their protestations that my international number is hard to reach, this operator didn’t think to email me (despite every other operator doing the same) that my tour guide had “succumbed to the flu” and that I was the only one signed to the tour, so they had to cancel. Not only that, the company is not currently occupying the address listed in their internet presence, which I discovered when I Googled their address to ask in person about possible recompense. While my getting a refund from the operator or Viator for a tour that did not take place is up in the air, I will use it as matriculation for a lesson learned, and urge other travelers to not take this offering.
We went for a walking tour of Savannah. The tour was FANTASTIC, and our tour guide Brad was super knowledgable and very personable. He was a good part of why the tour was so engaging. I would totally recommend.
