Excellent tour, would definitely recommend, particularly if you're interesting in visiting some sites seen in some Kdramas. The tour guide Jennifer was incredible and very friendly and approachable. Being a solo traveller she never made me feel uncomfortable and was always eager and happy to take photos for everyone on the tour. By far my favourite tour of my trip.
Day trip to nami island, petite France and Garden of the morning Calm
, Apr 2019
Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm are both worth a visit and beautiful. The Petite France was a bit disappointed especially for those who had visited Europe before.
The tour guide Yeni is superb with excellent command of English. She is both friendly and caring, making all of us feel comfortable and relax throughout the journey.
Quite a fun place to be at if you're familiar with K-drama and Korean culture. The Petit France which included in the tour set is an eye opener to classic French porcelain art. The morning calm flower light tour promises beautiful and enchanting light up gardens.
We just came back from Seoul when we had visited to this tour .Our guide GIGi was a very professional lady, friendly, caring and approachable. She is beautiful too.She explained everything, created a very nice atmosphere for all of us in the group. She has excellent organizational skills we had time to see and explore everything, enough time for lunch as well. She had given attention even to individuals’need. With regards to the places that we visited especially Nami and Garden of Morning Calm were excellent and worth visiting.Very nice places full of energy, close to Seoul and full of beauty. This excursion is highly recommended of you want to escape for a while from the busy city centre of Seoul. The last but not the least that another good point in this trip that it does not take to Ginseng centres or other such traps, which is a very normal stopping station in most of Seoul based tours.
Petite France was not worth the trip. Garden of Morning Calm was a night lights showing probably due to the season. Nami was good. Guide was good but the bus driver was quite poor. Braking alot thus making the ride uncomfortable.
The Garden of Morning Calm is definitely a place to visit. Very beautiful and relaxing. Unfortunately you will be pressed for time so plan ahead what spots you want to see (the particular gardens are beautiful). Your guide should be able to recommend the best spots.Nami Island is also a beautiful place, but the main draw is that a Korean drama was filmed there so it would help if you know the story. Other than that the place is a park for family and kids.Petite France looked like a tourist trap from the outside, that is until you see inside the buildings and appreciate some of the exhibits. Again, your time will be limited here so plan ahead what you want to see (the orgel exhibit and antique house are a must-see).
Christine is a great tour guide. She and the bus driver were really kind and they took us to all the places we had to visit. Christine explained everything to us and gave us time to look around the different places. The place that we loved the most was Nami.
The views at Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island are good for photo taking so we took a lot of photos. The ferry going to Nami Island was a nice experience as the ferry has big glass windows so you can see the view better. It was also airconditioned. There was not much to see and do at Petite France and the place needs renovation as it looks old.
