This was a fun and varied experience, especially with our tour guide Min-ho and our driver (whose name I don't know).
There was a good balance between culture (Temple and Palace), experience (Traditional Village), fun (Traditional Costume photo-shoot) and free-time to look around and pick up a few souvenirs.
Definitely worth doing, if you're in Seoul.
We had the pleasure of having Annie as our tour guide for our Full Day Essential Seoul Tour and couldn't be happier! Annie toured us through all of the must see attractions around Seoul with a small group in an air conditioned shuttle van. At no time were we rushed and we were able to answer all the questions we wanted. Being from America and not fluent in Korean I feel like this tour was the best way to get to see everything you need to see in one day. What I also liked is after we toured locations we were given free time to explore ourselves and then meet back up later at a designated time. This time was extremely organized and thorough.
Highlight of the tour was wearing hanbok to see the palace grounds and the Bukchon village. Insadong is a good place to visit if you are interested to buy art or local crafts. It has a good vibe. The Blue House literally was a blur because it was just a driveby. Tour bus was a bit disappointing. We are used to the comfort/look of coaches in Europe, Japan. Tour guide Mr. Park was amazing.
Had to visit Korea on a business trip and squeezed in this trip to do some sightseeing. Compared to other cities in Asia, Seoul is not very picturesque / scenic and sightseeing is an underwhelming experience. In the end I enjoyed the trip, as the group was fun and the guides are great! I'm not a big fan of dressing-up, but the photos of us wearing tradition Korean audits, was surprising fun! Can recommend!
This was a great tour and a highly recommended way to see many of the hot spots in 1 day. From the hotel pickup to the tour itself, everything went seamlessly. Our tour guide was Cindy who was born and raised in the area and was very patient, interactive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to take group photos and sends them all to you at the end. The air conditioned shuttle was also a definite plus - it was clean inside with nice cold AC and always dropped you off and picked you back up right at the entrances of the multiple locations we visited. 2 thumbs up for Cindy and the tour!
Guide Annie made this tour unforgettable. Her explaination was crisp and her knowledge about the palace and other places was phenomenal. Our group went at a very reasonable pace and had enough time for most of the things. I always find Viator tours very well managed and value for money.
I was recently in Seoul to attend a conference and only had a morning and afternoon to do some sightseeing. I am so glad I chose this tour as it gave me a good overview and varied experiences of the city. From a Buddhist temple to a royal palace to a scenic view of the city from a mountain top, walking around various districts from the authentic old to the buzzing new - all while having a great guide Jun telling us about history and providing great tips along the way. Dressing up in traditional clothes for a memorable photo was just as fun. I can recommend this tour as a great overview all in one day - and Thanks Jun you are great.
