Overview

The monumental Alcázar of Seville pays testament to Spain’s Moorish heritage and is considered one of Andalucia’s most important landmarks. Bypass the long lines at the Alcázar of Seville on a skip-the-line tour in the late afternoon. Alongside your guide, admire highlights such as the Patio del Crucero and the Baños de Doña Maria de Padilla, both featured in hit TV series 'Game of Thrones.'
  • Guided tour of the Alcázar of Seville
  • Bypass long lines with a skip-the-line ticket valid for a late afternoon slot
  • See palace highlights such as Patio del Crucero and the Baños de Doña Maria de Padilla
  • Learn about the Moorish heritage of Spain and Andalucia from a guide
  • Ideal for history buffs and first-time visitors
Greet your guide in early evening at the Inmaculada Conception Monument in Plaza del Triunfo. After receiving your skip-the-line ticket, bypass long lines outside of the complex and begin a guided tour of the Alcázar of Seville.

Your guide points out different architectural influences including Moorish, Renaissance, and baroque styles as you visit highlights such as the Hall of Ambassadors and the Royal Chambers.

Explore the palm-studded courtyards and, if you're a 'Game of Thrones' fan, don’t miss Patio del Crucero and the Baños de Doña Maria de Padilla, featured as settings on the hit HBO series.

After your tour concludes, you’re free to continue exploring the palace if you wish.

Fantastic - Must See - Better with a Guide

I think everyone agrees that the Alcazar is a must see attraction while visiting Seville, so I will focus on why it is better to visit as part of the tour (1) If you do not pre-book the queues are huge (2) Our guide - Rosso - was very knowledgeable but just as important she was funny. Sometimes these tours can be a long list of names and dates which I increasing fail to take in. However, Rosso delivery style kept us engaged throughout. Also we were given headsets, so we could take photos while still listening to the guide. Thoroughly recommend and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Rosso as your guide!

The Alcazar is stunning and the guide provided the group with wholesome explanations of every room. We skipped right through the line and into the palace without any issues. I cannot give it 5 stars because the guide, while knowledgeable and super friendly, needed a bit more of training in English. I am sure she will get there over time. I think everyone was thrilled with the place anyway! Overall, I recommend this tour.

My schedule was moved to the morning, but it turned out to be better since that meant the place wasn't too crowded yet. Our guide, Maria, was very good. Our group was small, which really allowed us to enjoy the palace. Definitely worth skipping the line.
