Excellent look into the life of a person training for the Iditarod. So informative. Puppies were beautiful and all the dogs are cared for very well. I’d go back for another visit.

Very Dissapointed

We left on a 3hr return journey with a driver called Bryan all though the guy was very nice my husband and I did not pay nearly £300 for a local guys life history. We were excited when setting off then after 3hrs we arrived at Caribou Crossing only to be told no dog sledding today it’s too hot for the dogs ( so so dissapointed ). Lunch was a pink piece of chicken not really cooked some coleslaw when I asked for a potato just told we didnt cook any (Poor) We were then given a short tall sped round a muddy track in a rickety old buggy. When we then said we were going to see the puppies told no sorry back to the bus it’s now departing. Waste of money and big big dissapointment. Can’t get in touch with anyone re a refund as not what I paid for.

great customer service, beautiful views of the Yukon trail

We forgot our passports and thought we were going to lose out on the tour but management was able to upgrade us to a Jeep excursion so that we had time to run back and get them. Having a Jeep allowed us to stop several times along the long Yukon Trail to see all the beautiful sites. The dog sledding was a fun experience, similar to a 10 minute roller coaster ride. The kids loved it almost as much as the Husky puppy play area where we spent so much time that we missed out on the chicken lunch.

Not the tour to choose

This was mostly just a bus ride for 5 hours. At most stops we only had 5 minutes. The whole tour was very rushed. Most disappointing was the dog mushing. We were told 30 min and it was barely a 5 min ride.

This was a great tour all around. Kenton is a great tour guide, he knows a lot and makes everything really fun. Take a good camera as you will be able to see amazing stuff.
