Head to the small fishing community of Mateos, renowned as the setting for a virtual gray whale 'underwater party' from December through March each year. Get a look at these majestic creatures, and learn about why they pick this secluded spot to give birth to their young. A guide, overnight accommodation in a cozy guesthouse, and two whale-watching tours are included.
Pair adventure with relaxation on this combo-activity tour in Los Cabos. Schedule the two activities on different days in an order of your choice. On the zipline tour, soar over treetops at heights up to 300 feet, make your way across a suspension bridge and rappel down to the forest floor. During our 2-Day Van Tour guests will spend a total of 6 hours whale watching, providing them with the best chance for an up-close and personal encounter with the Gray Whales. Each tour will be led by a Marine Biologist guide, explaining in detail the biology and history of these gentle giants. The guide will also takes photos during the tour, which are provided to our guests free of charge.Because of its location and ecosystem, Magdalena Bay is home to many other species, including dolphins, turtles, many sea and migratory birds. The lagoon is sheltered by the sandy barrier islands of Isla Magdalena and Isla Santa Margarita from the Pacific Ocean where coyotes can be spotted occasionally while whale watching in the bay.
