We are Germán and Karen dancers of Salsa, Bachata and other Latin rhythms. We serve as directors of TuBaile.com ensuring patience and pedagogy in our classes. In addition to dancing, we have been guiding the Bogotá Salsa Tour since 2016 teaching about the history of salsa and the nightlife in our city. During these 3 years of experience we have perfected our technique to help you dance faster than you can imagine, even if you have never taken a class before. They call us the yellow pages of the rumba because we know almost all the places where you dance in Bogotá as well as hundreds of dancers, schools and events.

We will start with a brief introduction of the geographical and cultural origin of this music and a demonstration of some of its rhythms, which includes Bunde, Currulao, Rumba, and Juga among others. We will embark on a unique musical journey through the instruments used in the villages of the rural Pacific Coast of Colombia. These traditional instruments include the Marimba de Chonta, the Cununos and Bombos, the Guasá and the Voices. We will show you how the alluring sounds of each instrument create a beautiful polyrhythmic texture when played together. No musical experience is required as we will explore these rhythms in a fun and accessible collective dynamic. We will also have the opportunity to enjoy some of the flavors of the Pacific prepared by the expert hands of a chef form the region. The taste of the sea and the sweet earthiness of the viche, a local sugar cane liquor will transport us, along with the music to Pacific Coast, making this a unique multi-sensory experience!

We offer a service where you learn to dance and then put into practice what you learned in the best night parties in the city. We visit the most prominent bars where you can dance with your instructor and enjoy a unique experience.

The Intensive Spanish Course offers 30 hours per week, which is made up of 20 hours of Spanish group lessons, 2 hours of groupal coaching, 5 hours of cultural activities, 1 hour of Dancing lessons and a colombian- food cooking lesson of two hours. We welcome students, professionals, and families to study with us in this fundamental course. This course is offered Monday through Friday beginning at 9am until 1pm, and prospective students may enroll any Monday of the year that is not an official holiday. The first lesson focuses on building skills in grammar and vocabulary. A brief break is offered, followed by the second lesson focusing on practicing those skills in reading, listening and conversation activities. Optional cultural outings are available in the afternoons and vary each week.
