A stroll around South Carolina’s Barefoot Landing on the Waterway is an ideal way to spend an evening in North Myrtle Beach. With more than 100 shops and restaurants, there’s a tantalizing variety of sundries, souvenirs, and sustenance. There’s also an alligator park, a 7-D cinema, a live tiger attraction, and a lovely view of the riverfront.
Barefoot Landing on the Waterway is a Myrtle Beach destination that appeals to a variety of ages. By day the place teems with shoppers and families, while by night the restaurants fill up while the Alabama Theatre and the House of Blues pulse with live music. At the T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station, you can see adult tigers and cubs for free. In summer, there is a fireworks show on Monday nights.

It’s always the holiday season at the Christmas Mouse, one of the original anchor stores at Barefoot Landing—and a great place to pick up a souvenir from your vacation to the Grand Strand. The shop features personalized ornaments and holiday decor of every type, and includes a staircase that leads to a gold tree trimmed with Swarovski crystals.
