I recently moved to Santa Marta with my wife where we can enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada and what it has to offer. Going up the sierra nevada to minca to this antique coffee farm in the middle of the jungle is an amazing experience as well as visiting the local beer brewery at the farm whose secret is the water from the Sierra Mountain.

After Booking the experience we will coordinate the time and transport to Aeroclub Villanos located in Cienaga about 30 min from Santa Marta. At the Aeroclub there will be a short introduction to the plane and pre-flight checking procedures. Get ready for take-off !!!! You will do an over pass of the Santa Marta bay, the Cienaga, and the Banana plantations. The total flight time will be around an hour. The flight includes Pictures, video, transport to and from Santa Marta. This is a truly amazing experience that you cant miss during your visit.
This is simply a wonderful day and a fantastic mix of adventure, nature, culture and relaxation.
You'll be collected by from your hotel in Santa Marta and relax in your air-conditioned vehicle for the drive to Palomino. Once here you'll change to the back of a motorbike for the next 15-20min before enjoying an ecological walk of approximately 1.3 hours.
You'll then arrive at the Kogi Village called Sevianca. Where you'll be greeted by the giant smiles of indigenous children. They'll be expecting a small gift, so don't disappoint; candy, book, toy, etc. (Suggested value of a gift $2 USD). You'll have approximately 30 minutes full of fun and photos before carrying on to tubing down the Palomino River. For this part you'll simply relax and let the current do all the work for the next 3.3-4 hours.
Following your tubing tour, you'll be collected by your transportation once again and relax for the journey back to your hotel in Minca or Santa Marta.

Another 45 minute walk to reach the finca where you will have the typical lunch with a panoramic view of Santa Marta. Another 45-minute walk to reach the organic coffee crops where the various processing procedures will be explained and a test of the finished product will be offered. Finally we will reach the cultivation of organic cocoa and also here we will provide information on the manufacturing process and a taste. Return to the hotel around 18.00
