    "This was a wonderful walking talking tour full of birds, trees, culture, history, art and a cool coconut along the way. Cathrina is the perfect host with her environmental expertise and journalistic knowledge. You can choose to walk in shade or the open depending on the weather. So you’ll always be comfortable. The beach side is lined with many small restaurants and drink and snack stalls. So you can stop and relax at any point. The end of the tour is quite wonderful as you sit on the steps of a ‘surf stadium’ and see the place for the world record was set for the most number of surfers riding one wave. I learned a lot about the city and it’s very impressive history. It was also good to see that the guy who proposed the idea of this beach garden is honoured in a statue right in the middle of the gardens.
